Maná Tops Latin Airplay With Carin León Collab ‘Vivir Sin Aire’

0

Maná returns to the top of Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart for the first time in nearly nine years, with a new version of the 1992 hit “Vivir Sin Aire,” with Carin León (ranking dated Sept. 13).

The reimagined version of “Vivir Sin Aire” rallies 14-1 on the overall Latin Airplay list after a 60% boost in audience impressions, to 9.4 million, earned in the United States, in the week ending Sept. 4, according to Luminate.

The new No. 1 ends Mana’s hiatus from the summit since the band last ruled with “De Pies a Cabeza,” with Nicky Jam, in 2016. In sum, the band has banked 12 champs on Latin Airplay, including two eight-week rulers, “Labios Compartidos” and “Lluvia Al Corazón” in 2006 and 2011, respectively.

As the new song takes over, Maná ties with Gloria Estefan and Juanes for the fifth-most rulers among Latin pop acts since Latin Airplay began in 1994. They trail Enrique Iglesias (32), Shakira (24), Ricky Martin (18) and Luis Fonsi (13).

For León, the collaboration marks his fifth time reigning the chart, with three of those landing in 2025. Curiously, León’s path to No. 1 on Latin Airplay No. 1 seems to follow an “M” formula: from “Llorar y Llorar,” with Mau y Ricky (2012), “Según Quién,” with Maluma (four weeks atop in 2023) and now his team-up with Maná, the letter “M” has become a lucky charm in his collaborations.

“Vivir Sin Aire” surges to No. 1 assisted by three Univision stations: KCSA (Los Angeles), WOJO (Chicago), and KLNO (Dallas) are leading the charge as the song’s biggest promoters during the tracking week.

All three cities are part of Maná’s Vivir Sin Aire Tour which kicked off Sept. 5, in San Antonio. In addition to two nights in Chicago, the group sports four dates at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif. (Los Angeles area) in November.

Beyond its coronation on the overall Latin Airplay chart, the song also rules the Regional Mexican Airplay with 6.6 million audience impressions, up 95%. Plus, it jumps 3-1 on the Latin Pop Airplay ranking.

Stars Break Down What’s Next for Weyler, Enid, Ophelia, and More (Exclusive)

0

[Warning: The above video and below contain MAJOR spoilers for Wednesday, Season 2, Part 2.]

Wednesday‘s second season has come to a close, and while several questions were answered, many others were raised in the final moments. But fret not, as we caught up with the stars and creatives behind some of Part 2’s most captivating moments and cliffhangers.

Before the cliffhanger conclusions left fans with questions, though, Part 2 made way for the highly-anticipated Nevermore gala, which saw Wednesday’s (Jenna Ortega) best friend and roommate, Enid (Emma Myers), team up with her stalker, Agnes (Evie Templeton) to defeat the nefarious principal Dort (Steve Buscemi), who was the true leader of the Morningsong cult.

As they danced to Lady Gaga‘s new tune, “The Dead Dance,” which Myers reveals she and Templeton knew about heading into filming. “We knew we were doing a Lady Gaga song, and we got to hear it a few times before we started rehearsing, but because we weren’t allowed to dance to it on the day, we rehearsed to what’s called a click track,” Myers explains.

Ultimately, Templeton says, “It was so fun and the rehearsal process was also great, workshopping ideas and seeing what works, seeing what didn’t, and just playing around with what lifts we were going to do was also quite cool.” As fans saw onscreen, Agnes’s invisibility played a role as they distracted the crowd to retrieve a talisman from Dort that prevented him from being susceptible to siren songs.

Helen Sloan / Netflix

“We had a blast creating that,” muses choreographer Corey Baker. “I created it with some dances first, and then pitched it to Tim [Burton] and Alfred [Gough] and Miles [Millar], the showrunners… and then, before you knew it, we were ready to film it.”As far as prepping the actors, Baker says, “We probably spent a week with the actors to teach it to them, and then I think we shot it across, maybe two to three days.”

As viewers continued to tune in, they learned that Tyler (Hunter Doohan), his mother, Francoise (Frances O’Connor), and his uncle Isaac (Owen Painter), the newly revived corpse, took Wednesday’s brother, Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez), as collateral in an experiment to rid Francoise of her Hyde powers, to save her life.

In the end, it was a trap for Tyler, who was forced into being the recipient of such a gift, but as things went awry, Wednesday stepped in to save her brother and cut Tyler loose. Considering she could have killed her former flame and Season 2 nemesis, where do Tyler and Wednesday, a.k.a. Weyler, stand? “All I can speak to is what I think Tyler’s feelings are, and I think that human side of him definitely does have those deep feelings for her…” Doohan tells TV Insider. “It was really fun to play with. There are so many layers in front of him with the Hyde and being controlled by different people, but the fact that his feelings were so strong, they have these little unspoken moments of peeking through… It was really fun to find those.”

The Season 2 climax, which also revealed that Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez (Luis Guzman) were responsible for Isaac’s death years prior, and uncovered the origin of Thing, which was apparently Isaac’s hand. “I was so thrilled when I read it,” Painter says of the reveal. “He’s clearly not emotional about taking out his literal own heart, and so I think, a lot of it is just the idea that somebody could have something of his, and that he’s not allowed to have it right away is probably very frustrating,” Painter notes of Isaac’s layered animosity towards the Addams family.

Once the finale reached its final moments, Tyler had gotten away and evaded authorities and was approached by Capri (Billie Piper), who offered him a do-over to join a pack and not be beholden to a master. Meanwhile, Enid had wolfed out to save Wednesday, which risked her possibly never being able to turn back as an alpha werewolf. And the biggest reveal was in Grandmama’s (Joanna Lumley) basement, where Morticia’s long-lost sister Ophelia seemed to be trapped and was scrawling “Wednesday must die” on the walls.

Could Wednesday’s new spirit guide, Larissa Weems (Gwendoline Christie), know something about that? “I often wonder if the notion of being a spirit guide means that you are all-seeing, all-knowing, and sometimes you can’t tell people everything,” Christie suggests. “Sometimes they’re just not ready.”

See what else the stars had to share in the full video above, which also delves into that body swap episode, and much more. Stay tuned for additional details on Wednesday as we gear up for Season 3 at Netflix.

Lyft CEO says company will save $200M in insurance costs from unionization deal it made with California lawmakers

0

Lyft CEO David Risher said on Monday that Lyft will save approximately $200 million in insurance costs due to the deal the company made with California lawmakers last month, which is paving the way for ride-hail drivers in the state to unionize.

“What we got in return was enormous,” Risher said on stage on Monday at Fortune’s Brainstorm Tech conference in Park City, Utah. “Our insurance rates will go down, and we will save approximately $200 million, which we will pass back to drivers in terms of better pay for drivers.”

Risher’s comments come shortly after a deal that Lyft and Uber struck with California Gov. Gavin Newsom, as well as two other California lawmakers, that would allow ride-hail drivers to unionize and organize for higher pay, benefits, and certain worker protections. In return, California lawmakers said they would support state legislation that would reduce the cost of insurance coverage ride-hail companies have to pay.

Risher’s comments on Monday were the company’s first attempt to put a monetary figure on the savings—with Risher estimating the company would save some $200 million in insurance payments.

Uber and Lyft’s deal with the state regulators had come as a surprise to some, particularly because Uber, Lyft, and other companies had collectively spent some $200 million some years ago in an effort to push legislation that would classify ride-hail drivers as “independent contractors” and therefore limit the benefits they are able to receive in California.

During his interview on Monday, Risher pushed back against the idea that Lyft and drivers had different interests.

“I think people believe that drivers and Lyft are on the opposite side of things,” Risher said. “Often we’re not. Often when drivers make more money, Lyft makes more money. Lyft makes more money, drivers make more money. It’s inextricably linked.” He said that Lyft would pass down savings from the reduced insurance costs to its drivers.

After California’s deal with Uber and Lyft, other states have moved forward with similar attempts to allow workers to unionize. Massachusetts has also recently passed a ballot measure that would give drivers the right to organize, and  Minnesota and Illinois are reportedly also considering the same.

Why has the Phoenix Group share price fallen 7% today?

0

By late afternoon today (8 September), the Phoenix Group Holdings (LSE:PHNX) share price was the biggest faller on the FTSE 100.

Despite reporting a “strong first half performance with progress against all key financial metrics” investors weren’t impressed. They wiped over £400m off the market cap of the group.

The financial services group also announced that it’s going to change its name to ‘Standard Life’ in March 2026. Personally, I think this is a good idea. The brand has been around since 1825.

A confusing picture

The problem with assessing the financial performance of groups like these is that accounting standards require certain key items to be presented differently to the way in which management teams prefer to report things.

The upshot is that there’s often a large differential between statutory (accounting) and management numbers.

For example, during the six months ended 30 June (H1 25), diluted operating earnings (net of financing costs) per share were 25.1p. In contrast, the group’s income statement is showing a loss of 18.2p a share.

Cash is king

Fortunately, cash is less affected by the vagaries of the accountancy profession. After all, it either exists or it doesn’t.

The group claims that operating cash generation (OCG) is “the metric which best demonstrates the long-term underlying value generation from our business”.

During H1 25, its OCG increased by 9% to £705m. The consensus of analysts was for £690m. And the group anticipates “mid-single digit percentage” growth in this number for the foreseeable future. At this level, it says its dividend is “well covered”. Also, it means there’s cash left over to help further reduce its debt.

However, when it comes to total cash generation, it was £22m short of expectations, which appears to have disappointed investors.

But I think there’s good news for income hunters. Even before today’s share price fall, the stock was in the top three of FTSE 100 yielders. As part of its results announcement, it declared a 2.6% increase in its interim dividend. Add this to last year’s final payout and the stock’s currently yielding 8.7%. Of course, there are no guarantees when it comes to dividends.

However, as long as it can grow its OCG in line with expectations, this should help secure a rise in its payout.

Some challenges

But just like the rest of us who invest in stocks and shares, the group’s vulnerable to wider market uncertainty. At 30 June, it had equities of £98.2bn and debt securities of £91.6bn on its balance sheet.

It also operates in a competitive industry. Some of the smaller players have lower operating costs, which gives them a competitive advantage.

However, Phoenix Group appears to be in good shape to me. It has a Solvency II ratio of 175%, which means it’s holding 75% more reserves than it’s obliged to.

And during H1 25, it saw a 3.1% increase in assets under administration to £295.1bn.

To be honest, I think today’s share price fall is a bit of an over-reaction to a relatively small miss on one cash measure. Based on its latest results, the group’s doing better than I thought it was at this time last week, and yet its shares are now 7% cheaper. On this basis, I think it’s a stock to consider, not least for its above-average dividend.

Below Deck Season 12 Episode 15 Recap

0

Welcome back! This week on Below Deck Season 12 Episode 15, Solène finally steps up her game. Last week, Fraser created a rule for her benefit, but it backfired spectacularly. Now, their final (and flirty) charter guests have arrived, much to the delight of everyone on board, minus Chef Anthony. Here is everything that happened in Below Deck Season 12 Episode 15, “All the Single Ladies.”

What happened in Below Deck Season 12 Episode 15?

Anthony must create an eight-course meal that satisfies several dietary restrictions. Across the yacht, Barbara and Jess have to decide where their romance goes from here. However, a bigger problem arises when Hugo stands accused of shirking his responsibilities. And then again, when the clock starts winding down on Anthony in the galley.

Relationships solidify and shift

The department heads hold their final preference sheet meetings. Their guests are all female, with varying dietary requests and needs. Anthony sighs.

They want a pink Malibu-themed dinner service. They also want a beach exursion, followed by an 8-course meal using fire and ice themes. Anthony heads to the galley while Fraser orders fireworks.

The crew heads out for dinner. Bárbara and Jess head to the bathroom, the new hookup spot for this series, apparently. When they return to the table, they play a game of Marry F*ck, Kill. Jess, fresh off her makeout session with Bárbara, reveals that she would marry Solène, “just for the plot.”

Then, Jess pulls Solène aside for a curbside chat. Jess apologizes for calling Solène out several hours earlier. Solène smiles, but in her confessional, she admits that she is still not okay. Back on board, Bárbara and Jess head to a guest cabin.

Jess wants to travel the world, she says. Bárbara supports Jess, but she also wants to continue seeing her post charter, she confesses. Thankfully, Jess likes this idea. Upstairs, Rainbeau flirts with Damo, but in his talking head, Damo admits that Solène is the one for him.

The next morning, Fraser and Hugo give pep talks to their teams. After, Solène hugs Damo. As she admits in her interview, she still has a thing for Kyle. But now, she also has “a baby, baby crush on Damo.”

Captain Kerry heads upstairs to chat with the deck team. He asks Hugo to anchor the ship at a later date. Hugo happily accepts.

The crew changes into their whites. Once dressed, Solène returns to the laundry room. Damo gives her a quick kiss before turning to Bárbara, asking her what her plans are with Jess after this season wraps. “It is what it is,” Bárbara cheekily answers.

The last charter group boards. Damo jokes that they look like trouble. Likewise, Hugo jests that Kyle had better not get fired. Right on cue, Kyle admits that “temptation is everywhere” in this female-only group.

The charter gets underway. Anthony heads to the bar to speak with his guests. He wants to make sure that he understands their dietary requests. As one notes, she is not allergic to gluten, just sensitive to it, so Anthony does not need to go too overboard with her preferences.

Kyle pulls Solène into a corner to make out. Hugo jokingly takes their picture. In the galley, Anthony starts preparing several simple options for his guests.

Speaking of these guests, they love hearing that everyone on this boat is single. And Damo is happy to supply these cougars with all of his flirtatious banters, he quips.

Hugo gets reprimanded by Captain Kerry

Jess phones her friend. This friend supports Jess in trying for a long-distance relationship with Bárbara. Similarly, Fraser wants to help Anthony in the galley. But Anthony might be overcomplicating the pink-themed dinner, Fraser suggests.

Solène is impressing Rainbeau with her work ethic, Rainbeau admits. Outside, the guests are enjoying the shirtless males on the deck team. As they prepare for dinner, Hugo, Damo, and Kyle review their headshots, joking about which lady they would willingly lose their jobs for.

The pink dinner arrives. Damo flirts with Solène. When he leaves, Kyle enters, kissing Solène. “Trouble is in my blood. It’s not my fault,” Solène jokes.

The guests love their pink Malibu-themed dinner. After, they request and receive a “sexy” fashion show. But, before it starts, Captain Kerry radios Hugo, assigning him to the watch position. However, Hugo does not head to the wheelhouse, since he is entertaining their guests.

Two(ish) hours later, Captain Kerry exits his cabin in his pajamas. He realizes that Hugo never reported to duty. In the morning, he calls Hugo to the bridge. Hugo admits that he forgot and promises that this will never happen again.

Anthony falls apart in the galley

Charter guest Jen likes Kyle. Another guest likes Damo. And Captain Kerry likes the idea of a shirtless male crew at the beach, he jests.

The guests arrive at Happy Bay beach. They love their lunch, and the random sweet dog that wanders over. Back on board, they further discuss which crew members they are crushing on.

In the galley, Anthony starts spiraling over his 8-course dinner. Rainbeau texts Fraser to give him a heads-up.

Hugo owns his mistake and works hard, so Captain Kerry allows him to anchor the yacht, as previously promised. Hugo nails it, Captain Kerry notes.

Dinner is in an hour and a half. But Anthony overhears his colleagues goofing off and starts crashing out. As the minutes pass, his stressors rise. “I don’t want to do a g*dd*amn thing,” he decides, right before his guests head upstairs to take their seats.

Below Deck continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.

TELL US – DID YOU WATCH BELOW DECK SEASON 12 EPISODE 15? WILL ANTHONY PULL HIMSELF TOGETHER? SHOULD SOLÈNE CHOOSE DAMO OR KYLE? DO YOU THINK BÁRBARA AND JESS WILL LAST?

At least 10 dead, 41 injured, after freight train rams bus in Mexico | World News

0

A freight train has collided with a double-decker bus in Mexico, shearing it in two and killing at least 10 people while injuring 41 others, authorities said.

The accident took place shortly before 7am (2pm UK time) on a railway crossing in an industrial part of Atlacomulco, a town about 80 miles (130km) northwest of the capital, Mexico City.

The state of Mexico’s civil defence agency said on X that authorities were still working at the site of the accident, and the state prosecutor’s office said it had opened an investigation.

The attorney general’s office said seven women and three men were killed, and some of those injured were in severe condition.

Images from the scene show the roof had been ripped from the top of the bus, owned by the passenger bus company Herradura de Plata (Silver Horseshoe).

Video on social platforms of what appeared to be CCTV footage of the crossing showed the bus in heavy traffic slowly moving across the train tracks.

The train then suddenly appeared, ramming the bus at its midpoint and splitting the vehicle in two. The train’s momentum carried the bus down the tracks.

The front half came to rest beside the crossing and the rear half further down on the opposite side of the tracks.

Authorities did not immediately give details about how the accident could have occurred. There were no visible crossing gates or other stop lights, witnesses said.

Miguel Sanchez, 33, who works at a service station about 100 yards away said he heard the train blow its horn ahead of the crossing.

“We heard a crash. We thought it was just a car. We never thought it would be a bus with so many people aboard,” Mr Sanchez told the AP news agency.

The train line, Canadian Pacific Kansas City of Mexico, confirmed the accident and sent its condolences to the families of the victims. The Calgary-based company said its personnel were on site and cooperating with authorities.

It also called on drivers to respect road signs and stop orders at railroad crossings.

The bus firm Herradura de Plata did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Rupert Murdoch settles family succession battle with payout : NPR

Rupert Murdoch has settled a legal battle with three of his children over the fate of his media empire after his death. Known as a conservative power broker, Murdoch visited President Trump in the Oval Office of the White House on February 03, 2025.

Rupert Murdoch has pulled one final rabbit out of his hat. The 94-year-old media titan has ensured that his vast corporate empire — boasting Fox News, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post among other titles — will retain its quintessential conservative identity after his death.

Through a series of complex transactions, Murdoch and his son Lachlan — his intended heir — have struck a deal to buy out the shares of Lachlan’s three eldest siblings: Prudence, Elisabeth and James. Lachlan is now set to control both his father’s companies, Fox Corp. and News Corp., after the elder Murdoch’s death. Each is to receive $1.1 billion, according to a person with direct knowledge who spoke on condition of anonymity, as precise details of the settlement have not been publicly disclosed.

In recent years, James had become an increasingly outspoken critic of the direction of Fox News and other Murdoch news outlets, including the Journal and News Corp.’s Australian papers. He particularly cited coverage of the January 2021 siege of the U.S. Capitol, Fox’s support for President Trump and the frequent disparagement of climate change on Fox and in the company’s Australian papers.

Elisabeth and Prudence had also felt betrayed by the decision of Rupert and Lachlan to sue them and James without warning in a probate court in Reno, Nevada, to try to sever them from any influence over the company’s future.

The old Murdoch family trust will be dissolved, under terms of this settlement. A new one will be created, with Lachlan in full control. Murdoch’s two youngest daughters, Grace and Chloe, from his third marriage to Wendi Deng, will be equal financial beneficiaries, but have no say. Murdoch divorced Deng in 2013.

To help fund the payments, the Murdoch companies are selling shares currently worth more than $1.4 billion. That means the percentage of voting shares held by the new family trust has been diluted, from roughly 40% to around one-third in both Fox Corp. and News Corp.

News Corp. and Fox Corp. declined comment for themselves and Lachlan and Rupert Murdoch, citing the pending transaction. A spokesperson for James Murdoch similarly declined comment and representatives of the other siblings could not be reached.

The settlement had been a long time in coming.

James had been Lachlan’s chief rival for corporate control for a generation. And he has been restive about the abilities of Lachlan to lead their family’s companies into the future, without the singular drive of their father.

Rupert Murdoch decided on Lachlan, who shares his conservative outlook; if anything, the son is considered more ideological than his father. Both men argued that, after the media mogul’s death, the company would need stability in the top leadership ranks and consistency in its core conservative principles to retain the loyalty of its audiences.

Under Lachlan and Rupert’s leadership, the Wall Street Journal emerged as a financial powerhouse; Fox similarly has been a strong performer. Yet the latter’s reports and commentary have sparked a series of scandals in recent years. The latest involves a defamation suit from an election software company called Smartmatic. Fox stars amplified and embraced conspiracy theories that it helped throw the 2020 race to Joe Biden. (Fox says it was simply covering newsworthy allegations.)

The original family trust gave the four children from Rupert Murdoch’s first and second marriages equal financial stakes and votes in determining their companies’ future, however. That was the condition set by Rupert’s second wife, Anna, when he divorced her, allowing him to avoid having to hand over half his net worth to her. (He instead paid her $110 million.)

The trust was irrevocable. Yet Murdoch sought to have it revoked — erasing the reason for the trust in the first place. A Nevada state probate official ruled that Rupert and Lachlan had acted in bad faith; their prospects looked rocky on appeal.

Rupert Murdoch has built a record and a reputation for ruthlessness. When things are dire, however, Murdoch also has a record of paying out. For example, Murdoch gave his four eldest children an extra $100 million when he decided to give Grace and Chloe an equal financial stake.

Murdoch’s British papers paid Hugh Grant and Prince Harry and 1,300 other litigants more than $1.5 billion to settle claims of people alleging phone hacking or other criminal intrusions of their privacy.

Now, he has sued for peace by cashing three of his children out of the family business. But it is a brittle peace. James and Rupert almost never speak.

Dax Shepard And Alicia Silverstone Discuss Anal Electrocution On Podcast

0

Instagram/@daxshepard

When Alicia Silverstone was on the Armchair Expert podcast with Dax Shepard as the host, the conversation would turn very quickly into animal rights and the gruesome truths about fur-making. The embarrassment of Silverstone’s career was described by Shepard as shockingly fun and playful, and jokingly so while mentioning Silverstone miming the Clueless act. The conversation then veered into graphic images of animal abuse in the fashion industries.

Shepard shared a slick clip in which he comments that the description of anal electrocution was hardly suitable for a morning-shock show. “I thought I could use the activists,” Shepard says in the clip; “I could use the press that I didn’t want to be doing to talk about these things.” He eventually realized, though, that most of the audience was not prepared to have those images of cruelty brought forth in their morning entertainment.

It also covered Silverstone waking up from a long career snooze, her friendship with Woody Harrelson, and animal-welfare activism at present. Shepard looked forward to discovering more about the woman behind the pop-culture phenomenon named Cher Horowitz from Clueless.

Amazing yet varied listener response came. “Your face when she said anal execution is priceless @daxshepard 😂. Good for @aliciasilverstone for speaking up as to the realities of the brutal fur industry,” exclaimed one user, referencing the segment about anal electrocution.

The majority of listeners adored the show with one saying, “Her voice touches something in my millennial brain. It’s the essence of Cher 💛🖤 what a Betty,” and another saying, “I am OBSESSED with her giggle!!! Alicia’s giggle is giving me LIFE!! GREAT episode!”

The conversation was surely nostalgic for the listeners, who have been a part of Silverstone’s cultural threat. “I was so young when that movie came out but I had older sisters. I remember just feeling like it was a window into their life and how cool it must be to be in high school,” another fan wrote.

The comments, however, were not all very friendly. “Didn’t she endorse RFK Jr 🤮,” wondered a user, in reference to past controversial endorsements made by Silverstone which have cost her some fans.

The episode took a rather lighthearted approach to 90s nostalgia, reminiscing about the slew of “Got Milk?” advertisements that both Silverstone and Monica Padman-the co-host of Shepard-have done as kids, which spurred on listeners in the comments to share their own milk mustache collections.

It is because of Shepard and his approach toward balancing serious issues with entertainment that his podcast continues to maintain a different dimension within the interview landscape. Though his graphic description of animal cruelty methods alarmed some, it was nothing new going back-a long-standing calling out of uncomfortable truths within celebrity interviews has been his thing.

This episode continues in the same vein as many another well-done edition in this ever-growing series of merging pop culture nostalgia with current issues, maintaining its reputation of being simply entertaining while somehow attaining an unexpected level of depth.

Back in June, I added Hims & Hers Health (NYSE:HIMS) to my Stocks and Shares ISA after it tanked 35% in a day.

Since then, it’s risen 15%, but this is an incredibly volatile stock. It can rise or fall 25% in the blink of an eye.

For example, it’s up 100% year to date, but in this time has also endured a 63% peak-to-trough decline, as well as two 35% drawdowns.

The recent share price chart basically looks like a hospital heart monitor, spiking up and down.

Yet, I’m still bullish on the stock long term. Here’s why.

Direct-to-consumer health platform

Hims & Hers is a digital health and wellness platform that connects consumers to medical care for things like hair loss, skin issues, sexual health, mental health, and weight management.

It’s known for its personalised treatment plans, including customised dosages of GLP-1 weight-loss drugs. The company is also steadily expanding its own capabilities, from blood lab testing to buying its own peptide plant.

Hims & Hers’ mission is to “make healthcare accessible, more affordable, and more personal“.

Rapid growth

I’m bullish for a few reasons. Firstly, growth is very strong. In Q2, revenue soared 73% to $545m, while adjusted EBITDA more than doubled to $82.2m. Wall Street expects full-year revenue to jump 59% to around $2.3bn.

The number of subscribers grew 31% to over 2.4m in Q2, with nearly 1.5m of those receiving personalised treatments. And subscribers using a personalised plan for multiple conditions surged 170% to over 500,000. This is very encouraging.

More people than ever are turning to our platform for treatment, and we’re seeing rapid growth in customers using personalised plans. Our model is working and accelerating.

Hims & Hers Health

Looking ahead, management is aiming for $6.5bn in revenue and $1.3bn in adjusted EBITDA by 2030. This will be driven by expanding into new areas like longevity and hormonal health, as well as growing internationally. It recently acquired ZAVA, one of the largest online doctors in the UK and Europe.

The valuation also doesn’t look crazy to me. With a $10.9bn market cap, the stock’s trading at four times next year’s forecast sales, while profits are growing even as the company invests heavily for growth.

Lawsuits

One potential risk here, though, is Novo Nordisk possibly suing Hims & Hers for continuing to sell personalised doses of semaglutide (the active ingredient in Wegovy). It terminated a partnership with the firm over this issue in June.

Perhaps tellingly, though, Novo Nordisk hasn’t done this yet, and an early September court dismissal of a similar lawsuit brought by Eli Lilly against a telehealth company has recently boosted Hims & Hers stock.

Nevertheless, there’s potential legal risk if Novo Nordisk decides to pursue this route.

Management says it’s building “for a future where a Hims & Hers membership could cover the majority of conditions that impact an individual’s everyday health“. And it wants the platform to become one where people go to prevent issues rather than just treat them.

This should see the firm tap into a massive global wellness trend among Millennials and Gen Z (valued as a highly fragmented $2trn industry by McKinsey).

To sum up, Hims & Hers is founder-led, innovative, growing strongly, pursuing a massive market opportunity, and isn’t ridiculously valued. I think it’s well worth considering.
