Ahead of her death, it was reported that she went into “full arrest” on Thursday and that someone “administered epinephrine” in order to help her “regain a pulse.” It was also reported that Lisa was “able to regain a pulse” prior to being transported. Here are five things you should know about Elvis and Priscilla’s late daughter below.
1. Her Parents Are Elvis and Priscilla Presley
Lisa became Elvis’ pride and joy when she was born to him and his wife, Priscilla, on Feb. 1, 1968. As the only child of “The King of Rock and Roll“, Lisa Marie was in the spotlight from the day she was born and grew up with public eyes on her nonstop. Now, the mother-of-four has enjoyed keeping a private life as much as possible, except in the rare instances she shared pieces of her family life on social media and beyond, like she did on Feb. 2, 2021, when she posted a snapshot of herself with her family.
When Lisa was nine years old, her father tragically passed away. More recently, her father’s life story was retold in the biopic, Elvis, starring Austin Butler, 31. On Jan. 10, 2023, Austin won his first Golden Globe Award for his performance of the late musician, and even made Lisa and her mother cry during his acceptance speech. Austin and Lisa became very close during the film and she even took to Instagram on June 18, 2022, to share a snapshot from an interview she did with Austin.
2. She Was Married Four Times
As of 2023, Lisa has been married four times, and two of her previous husbands include late singer Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage. Lisa Marie’s first husband was musician Danny Keough, who she married in 1988 and divorced in 1994. Later, she went on to marry “King of Pop” Michael in 1994, and it brought on a large amount of media coverage because of the shock it caused to the public.
The couple faced a large amount of criticism with some even suggesting the marriage was a way to help Michael look better when he was in the midst of child molestation accusations. Both Lisa Marie and Michael insisted their love was real, however, but they ended things in 1996. Lisa Marie’s marriage to Nicolas was in 2002 and also shocked many before they eventually divorced in 2004. Her fourth marriage was to her guitarist Michael Lockwood in 2006. After ten years of marriage, Lisa Marie filed for divorce in 2016.

During Lisa’s marriage to Danny, they had two children together, Danielle Riley Keough, in 1989, and their late son Benjamin Storm Keough, who sadly died on July 12, 2020. Lisa was “devastated” to learn the news that Benjamin had died at just 27-years-old. Her second-eldest child was found dead in Calabasas, California and died “from a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” TMZ reported on July 12, 2020.

TMZ‘s report that Benjamin Keough died of a ‘self-inflicted gunshot’ was confirmed on July 12, 2020, by the Los Angeles County Coroner, who revealed that the 27-year-old’s manner of death was by suicide. The full report revealed that Benjamin’s death was caused by an ‘intraoral gunshot wound.’
