Islam Makhachev once again proved he’s the pound-for-pound best last night (Sat., Jan. 18, 2025) at UFC 311 live on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, Calif., stopping Renato Moicano in the first round to defend his UFC lightweight title. In co-main event action, Merab Dvalishvili defended his UFC bantamweight crown for the first time with a star-making win over the previously undefeated Umar Nurmagomedov (official scorecard HERE).
