Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer Bozoma Saint John is standing by her man, Keely Watson.
On a recent episode of the RHOBH After Show, Dorit Kemsley and Bozoma were talking about what a really sweet, thoughtful man Keely is. “Do you remember when Sutton [Stracke] thought that there were ‘red flags’ with you and Keely?” Dorit asked. Even Sutton admits that sometimes she’s not very nice.
“The funny thing is she didn’t know anything about him at all,” Boz said, while Dorit admitted that Sutton’s comment “really got under [her] skin.”
Keely Watson and Bozoma Saint John are “two pieces of a puzzle that just fit”
“I don’t think [Sutton] can pick out a red flag, green flag, orange flag, purple flag, pink flag,” Bozoma decided on the RHOBH After Show.
“I don’t think she has good instincts,” Boz continued. “If she doesn’t have good instincts about my situation, then how could she have good instincts about her own situation?”
Sutton, who’s been divorced since 2016, has also been looking for love. Sadly, she hasn’t had much luck finding it.
Since day one, Boz and Dorit seemed to hit it off right away. But when she confided in Dorit and Erika Jayne that she and Keely had yet to exchange the “L-word,” they were a little shocked. The couple were already talking about marriage and having a child together.
A few months down the road, though, all is well. “We say ‘I love you’ all the time now,” the former Netflix executive said. “Yes, a hundred times a day, all of the time.”
“He got lucky with me,” she said. “He respects me, he’s not threatened by me. That’s the balance you need … So, it was a very strange thing for me not to communicate the fact that I loved him — even though I knew it — but I wanted to wait for him to tell me. Imagine if I said I loved him and he said, ‘Thank you.’ I would run out of there.”
The day Boz and Keely finally told each other “I love you,” Dorit was Bozoma’s first call. And Dorit was thrilled for her. “They are, honestly, like two pieces of a puzzle that just fit,” she observed.
