Highlights! Callum Walsh delivers brutal ‘Knockout of the Year’ candidate on UFC Fight Pass

Callum Walsh — who has a big fan and supporter in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) CEO, Dana White — once again turned in a blistering performance the day before St. Patrick’s Day.

Indeed, the 24-year Irish pugilist returned to action earlier today (Sun., March 16, 2025) live on UFC Fight Pass from inside The Theater inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, knocking out Dean Sutherland in the very first round in what is an early candidate for “Knockout of the Year.”

With 20 seconds left in the opening round, “King” landed a sold right hand that dropped his opponent like a sack of potatoes, leaving out cold in the center of the ring. There was no need for a count because the referee there was simply no coming back from that.

With the win, Walsh improves 13-0 as a professional with 11 knockouts to boast of. White has made it a habit to promote Walsh’s fight on UFC streaming platform, and now that the UFC head honcho is all in on the boxing front, it gives him more reason to support the current WBC Silver Super Welterweight champion.

Walsh is flying high in his young boxing career as his last four fights have finished via KO/TKO. And who knows, he may be fighting under the TKO Boxing banner soon enough seeing as how he and White — who was in attendance tonight — seem to have a very tight bond.
