Magomed Anakalev is torching all the top contenders in his division on social media.
And that’s because he won the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight title against Alex Pereira this past weekend (Sat., March 10, 2025) at UFC 313, and he’s felt nothing but disrespect from his peers.
During the UFC 313 main event between Pereira and Anakalaev, which took place inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, ESPN MMA caught Khalil Rountree looking super stressed in between rounds. He was looking down with his hands on his head.

Today (Mon., March 10, 2025), Ankalaev saw the clip circulating on social media (or his manager did), and he burned “Warhorse” just like he did Jiri Prochazka.
“Khalil bum tree upset I beat his daddy, let’s go Jamaal,” Ankalaev wrote.
Well, it looks like Anakalaev will be rooting for former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill when he collides with Rountree in the main event of UFC Kansas City, which is set for Sat., April 26, 2025.
Rountree has been out of action since his four-round bloody title fight against Pereira at UFC 307 (watch highlights).
