Armen Petrosyan is no longer on the Ulitmate Fighting Championship (UFC) roster.
Today (Mon., March 17, 2025), social media account UFC Roster Watch revealed that UFC Middleweight Petrosyan has been released from his respective contracts, and/or the promotion decided not to extend it.

Petrosyan (8-5) snagged a UFC contract on season five of Contender Series by brutally knocking out Kaloyan Kolev in the first round; however, he could never score a finish inside UFC.
The Armenian did go 3-1 in his first four UFC fights, with a split decision win over Gregory Rodrigues—which has aged pretty well—along with unanimous decision victories over AJ Dobson and Christian Leroy Duncan.
Unfortunately, “Superman” has lost three straight fights all by way of finish, including a “lucky” spinning double backfist courtesy of Shara Magomedov at UFC 308 last year (watch highlights).
Perhaps the 34-year-old was “seriously poisoned” again in his last outing against Brunno Ferreira, where he was submitted in the second round at UFC 313?
Nevertheless, Petrosyan exits the UFC with a 3-4 record.
