JUST BLEED!
Thunder Fight 47 took place yesterday (Sun., March 30, 2025) inside the Thunder Fight Center in Sao Paulo, Brazil. On the regional mixed martial arts (MMA) show’s main card, a 90-second firefight unfolded between Middleweights Thiago Goulart and Leonardo Mesquita—and it was violently awesome.
After 30 seconds of sizing each other up, Goulart came out swinging and rocked Mesquita. This sparked Mesquita to go all-out, unleashing a furious barrage of punches, hooks, and elbows in a desperate bid to finish the fight.
Mesquita weathered the storm and fired back. He stunned Goulart and began stalking his opponent, landing heavy shots. But in his aggression, he overcommitted and walked straight into a devastatingly brutal spinning back elbow that knocked him out cold.

With the win, Brazil’s Goulart improves to 2-1 as a professional, bouncing back into the win column after his first career loss to Jonathan Elias. Meanwhile, Mesquita drops to 1-2, now riding a two-fight skid.
It’s only March, but tuck this brawl away in your memory for end-of-the-year awards consideration.
