Mar-a-Lago is just over an hour north of Miami.
U.S. President Donald Trump is a frequent guest at UFC pay-per-view (PPV) events, thanks to his longstanding relationship with promotion CEO Dana White. But he may be too busy working on those pesky tariffs to spend Sat. night (April 12) at UFC 314 inside Kaseya Center.
That’s where Alex Volkanovski fights Diego Lopes for the vacant featherweight title.
“We have given Donald Trump a 33% chance of being in attendance for his first UFC event following his new tariffs,” BetIdeas.com spokesman Steven McQuillan said in today’s update. “There is a 52% chance that Conor McGregor will be in attendance this weekend, and [Michael] Chandler will likely call him out if he is to win. Our traders give him a 75% chance of calling out his long-term rival.”
Sounds like there is a lot to watch out for this weekend in “The Sunshine State.”
UFC 314 will also feature the lightweight co-main event between Michael Chandler and Paddy Pimblett. Both combatants have their eyes on a potential Conor McGregor super fight, but it sounds like “Notorious” is too busy trying to follow in Trump’s footsteps.
