Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) continues to trim its expansive roster of mixed martial arts (MMA) talent.
Today (Weds., April 23, 2025), social media account Borrachinha Depot revealed that four fighters have been removed from UFC active’s roster, meaning they have been released from their respective contracts and/or the promotion decided not to extend them.
Lucas Alexander, Caolan Loughran, Pedro Falcao, and Cortavious Romious are the four fighters who lost their spots on the UFC’s active roster.

Alexander (8-5) receives his walking papers after getting finished by UFC newcomer Bogdan Grad (watch highlights). Unfortunately for the Brazilian, he was hospitalized after UFC Saudi Arabia for shortness of breath due to paint fumes in the locker room in which he was warming up.
Alexander is riding a two-fight losing streak and exits the promotion after going 1-3 inside the Octagon.

Loughran (10-2) gets the rare honor of losing his job after coming off a win, even if it was controversial.
The Irish fighter went 2-2 inside the promotion, winning over Nathan Fletcher and Angel Pacheco but losing to Jake Hadley and Taylor Lapilus (both of whom have been released).
At only 28 years old and being from Europe, there might be a good chance that he returns to the UFC after scoring a few wins on the regional scene.
For what it’s worth, he has a 24-year-old brother who is a pretty good prospect.

Two-time Contender Series alumni Romious (8-4) only had two fights in UFC before being released, but they both were fun, and he definitely lived up to his nickname, “Are You Not Entertained?”
In his most recent outing at UFC Vegas 105, he was stopped by Chang Ho Lee (watch highlights). Romious missed weight, which may have led to him losing his job.
Romious departs the promotion with a 0-2 record.

Like Romious, Falcao (16-5), who also fought on UFC Vegas 105, only had two UFC fights, and he lost them both, leading to his exit.
The 32-year-old fought Victor Hugo at UFC Vegas 90 on very short notice and lost a competitive unanimous decision. Victory Henry most recently defeated Falcao.
Damn those Victors!
