There’s a new influencer fighting league in town.
Popular streamer, Adin Ross, recently started up the Brand Risk Promotion, which pits other online stars opposite one another in caged kickboxing or MMA matches. I don’t think Anderson Silva or Nate Diaz have to worry about eventually losing to a Brand Risk veteran, however, because these “athletes” make Jake Paul look like George Foreman.
Still, Ross’ show was big enough to attract the attention of UFC CEO Dana White and Chief Business Officer Hunter Campbell. In fact, White and Campbell served as commentators alongside Ross and boxing champion Teofimo Lopez. Well, they mostly just joked around and made bets on the fights, which feels appropriate.
The highlight of the evening was when White and Campbell made a $10k wager on the co-main event between Kick streamer Oblivion and “Island Boy” Kodiyakredd. The Island Boys were a fairly hated viral meme after their terrible singing in 2021, and somehow the brothers’ fame endures to the point that I’m still forced to write about them four years later.
Anyway, White backed Oblivion and Campbell picked Kodiyakredd. If Campbell had seen The Island Boy mitt work, he would’ve known better! Kodiyakredd threw down but wasn’t any good at it, suffering a late stoppage loss. The full fight highlights can be seen above, but the finish itself with White and Campbell’s commentary is below:
Dana White and Hunter Campbell just watched one of the Island Boys get KO’d

In case anyone cannot get enough social media influencer action, here’s a handful of other highlights from the event. The event certainly seemed more fun to watch than Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson!
