Video: UFC 314’s Hitler-admiring, Flat Earth-believing Bryce Mitchell admits ‘brain damage’ ahead of must-win Jean Silva clash – ‘Born with it, brother’

It all makes sense now?

Resident Flat-Earther and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight Bryce Mitchell puts his No. 13 ranking on the line against the oncoming Brazilian buzzsaw Jean Silva at UFC 314 this weekend (Sat., April 12, 2025) inside Kaseya Center in Miami, FL.

The two 145-lb fighters have been trading barbs since the kickoff press conference last month (watch here), and the verbal sparring has continued throughout fight week.

During UFC 314 media day yesterday (watch here), Silva predicted that “Thug Nasty” would be forced to hang up his gloves and retire after their bout due to the brain damage he plans to inflict.

“The fight’s going to go [like this]: he’s going to try to take me down, I’m going to defend it, and I’m going to throw some shots at his head. Might knock him out in the first, in the second,” Silva told reporters. “We’ll see, but maybe he’ll need to retire after this because he’s going to have some brain damage after this one.”

Well, one day later, during UFC 314’s final pre-fight press conference (watch it), Mitchell was asked about Silva’s remarks, and the Arkansas native hit everyone with, “I was born with brain damage, brother — I’ll be alright.”

Honestly, no UFC fighter has ever made a truer statement, and it perfectly explains the utterly ridiculous and absurd things Mitchell has said and done over the past six years with the promotion.

Take, for instance, his admiration for Adolf Hitler, drilling his own nuts, or his bizarre aversion to wearing seatbelts.

Whether you agree with his outlandish, goofy views on life or not, Mitchell remains supremely confident in his ability to win this fight and has urged everyone to bet big on him.

This fight is shaping up to be legendary.
