Video: UFC CEO Dana White narrates WrestleMania 41 opening before getting booed twice by wrestling fans

Dana White was booed twice by a packed out Allegiant Stadium earlier tonight (Sat., April 19, 2025) at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the UFC CEO felt the cold hearts of wrestling fans after being shown on the big screen.

White, who is now linked to WWE after the merger with UFC, helped introduce WrestleMania 41 with a solid opening montage called “City of Dreamers,” which put a focus on Las Vegas as a whole. The UFC frontman narrated this video package at the start of the main card. It incorporated some UFC highlights along the way, which may or may not have rubbed wrestling fans the wrong way.

Check it out below:

White obviously stuck around to enjoy the festivities with an impressive front row setup, but he may now wish he had left. The UFC CEO was shown on the Allegiant Stadium big screen for the first time and received noticeable boos. WWE’s production team decided to pan back to White at a later point, only to see him get showered with boos again.

Check it out below:

It wasn’t the worst moment for White, but still a hard reality check for the UFC CEO that not everyone is a fan of his work. Maybe the WrestleMania crowd felt like they were being forcefed UFC content. Maybe they just didn’t care. It doesn’t really matter.

After White’s WrestleMania opener and $10 million baccarat tournament, fight fans really just want to see the UFC CEO get to work and make the one fight that matters most.
