Sergio Pettis is set to make his return after nearly a year away from action to face off against his former teammate, Raufeon Stots, on the main card of the recently-announced Professional Fighters League (PFL) 7 event on June 27, 2025 in Chicago, Illinois.
Pettis — the former Bellator MMA Bantamweight champion of the world — is currently riding a two-fight losing streak and was last seen losing a unanimous decision to Kyoji Horiguchi at RIZIN 47 in June 2024. Prior to that. “The Phenom” coughed up his 135-pound title to Patchy Mix, who recently inked a deal with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
As for Stots — who also has a loss to Mix — is currently on a two-fight win streak and a made a successful PFL debut by defeating Marcos Breno at “Battle of the Giants” in Oct. 2024.
The card will be headlined by a Middleweight semifinal between Fabian Edwards and Josh Silveira, while a Light Heavyweight bout between Phil Davis and Sullivan Cauley.
