Hilton Honors Summer 2025 Promotion: Earn 1,000 Bonus Points Per Stay

Hilton Honors has launched a new promotion for summer 2025, offering registered members 1,000 bonus points per stay completed between June 1 and August 15, 2025.

Unlike previous offers that rewarded longer or higher-value stays, the 2025 Points Plus promotion provides the same bonus regardless of the number of nights. Whether you stay for one night or a full week, the bonus remains 1,000 points.

While the value may be modest, it’s a straightforward opportunity to earn a few extra points on upcoming Hilton stays, especially if you tend to book shorter visits.

From June 1 to August 15, 2025, Hilton Honors members who register in advance will earn 1,000 bonus points per completed stay.

This isn’t double points, nor is it capped based on spend—it’s a flat bonus that rewards frequency over duration. That means shorter, more frequent stays will give you the best return.

You’ll first need to register for the promotion on the official Points Plus promotion page and then you’ll earn 1,000 bonus points per stay during the promotion’s eligibility period.

Hilton Honors summer 2025 promotion lets you earn 1,000 bonus points per stay

Whether it’s one night or five, you’ll get the same 1,000 bonus points per stay. The longer you stay, the lower your effective return per dollar, so it pays to break up trips if possible.

Here’s how the points stack up when you optimize with elite status and the right credit card:

That works out to up to 34 Hilton Honors points per dollar spent: 10 base points as a Hilton Honors member, 10 points with Hilton Diamond status, and 14 points by paying with an Aspire card. Plus, the flat 1,000 bonus points from the Points Plus promotion.

At our current valuation of 0.5 cents per point (USD) or 0.7 cents per point (CAD), that’s an approximate return of 17% on the $1 spent, excluding the 1,000-point bonus.

For example, if a diamond member stayed 1 night at a Hilton with a rate of $200 (USD) per night you would get the following:

  • 2,000 Base points earned
  • 2,000 points earned as a diamond member
  • Up to 2,800 points by paying with a co-branded credit card (for example the Hilton Aspire)
  • 1,000 Bonus points earned from the promotion

That’s a total of 7,800 points. At our current valuation of 0.5 cents per point (USD) or 0.7 cents per point (CAD), you could also view this as a 19.5% return, which is a decent deal.

Of course, not everyone has the Aspire Card — even with annual credits, it’s a steep annual fee to swallow when you consider other premium cards on the market.

Alternatively, if you have a Canadian-issued American Express Platinum Card or Business Platinum Card from American Express, and a lower-tier American Express US Hilton credit card, you’ll earn the following:

  • 10 base points per US dollar spent as a Hilton Honors member
  • 8 bonus points for having Hilton Honors Gold status (which you get as an Amex Platinum cardholder)
  • 12 points for using your Hilton Honors Surpass or Business Card at a co-branded property
  • 1,000 bonus points per stay

That’s a total of 30 Hilton Honors points per dollar spent, plus the 1,000 bonus points per stay. For a one-night stay priced at $200 USD, that works out to $35 in value, or a 17.5% return.

Keep in mind that your effective return will be lower on longer stays, as the bonus remains the same regardless of duration. Therefore, the Points Plus promo isn’t the most rewarding Hilton offer we’ve seen—but it’s still worth registering if you have any cash stays coming up.

For shorter stays in particular, that flat 1,000-point bonus can help boost your earnings and bring you closer to your next redemption.

Use the points earned from the promotion for an aspirational stay

Saving your points would certainly be a better choice if you’re working towards an aspirational Hilton redemption with a high points cost, especially since Hilton Honors points aren’t as easy to come by as other hotel rewards from a Canadian perspective.

Conclusion

The Hilton Honors 2025 Points Plus promotion is now live, valid for stays from June 1–August 15, 2025. For each stay completed during the promotional period, you’ll earn 1,000 bonus points.

There’s no downside to registering for this promotion, so be sure to consider Hilton properties if you have some hotel stays coming up over the summer months to score some extra points.

Just make sure to register for the Points Plus promotion, and then plan your upcoming stays accordingly to maximize its potential.
