Jake Paul will be making his return to the “sweet science” when he collides with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on Sat., June 28, 2025 on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Their headlining affair will consist of 10, three-minute rounds sporting 10oz gloves at a weight of 200 pounds.
Both fighters will take the dais today alongside cruiserweight rivals Zurdo Ramirez and Yuniel Dorticos for today’s kickoff press conference, hosted by Chris Mannix, streaming LIVE at 4 p.m. ET in the embedded video above. Fighter face offs will commence immediately following today’s media festivities.
“Chavez Jr. is Mexican, but I, El Gallo De Dorado, have the will and heart of the great Mexican fighters,” Paul said. “On June 28, live on DAZN pay-per-view, I will knock out Julio and make Chavez Sr. proud in ways Jr. never has. Another massive event from MVP, with some Oscar De La Hoya seasoning added to the show.”
The 28 year-old Paul (11-1, 7 KOs) has not competed since his Mike Tyson circus last fall in Arlington. As for Chavez Jr. (54-6-1, 34 KOs), 39, he’s looking to win his third straight after defeating UFC veteran Uriah Hall at the “Fear No Man” spectacle in Tampa — headlined by “El Gallo” — back in summer 2024.
