One of the greatest collegiate wrestlers of the last few decades turned Olympic gold medalist, Kyle Snyder, was arrested last weekend during a prostitution sting by Columbus Division of Police in Ohio. He stands accused of paying an undercover officer for oral sex and is scheduled to return to court on May 19 to face charges.
Unfortunately for “Snyderman,” TMZ Sports has gained access to and released the arrest footage from the incident. In the video above, Snyder is confronted and handcuffed by multiple officers without any pants on, after he allegedly had already handed cash to the undercover agent. The officers helped him put on pants, talked a bit about Ohio wresting, and handed him his court date before allowing Snyder to leave.
At one point, Snyder was intent on UFC stardom before doubling down on his wrestling pursuit. The 29 year-old wrestler was most recently competed in February as part of the 2025 Muhamet Malo Tournament in Albania, improving his amateur wrestling record to an 199-21 with a tech fall over Georgia’s Dato Piruzashvili.
As of right now, he’s still scheduled to compete at USA Wrestling’s Final X event. Snyder has yet to release a statement on the arrest or the video release.
