The time has arrived for the highly-anticipated “Fatal Fury” event, which will be held right in the heart of New York City TONIGHT (Fri., May 2, 2025), as the ring will be placed outside in Times Square, featuring a WBA (regular) Welterweight title fight between Ryan Garcia vs. Rolly Romero.
Garcia will look to make things right for himself after his dominant and impressive win over Devin Haney a year ago was overturned to a “No Contest” because of a failed drug test, which has led to an all-out, back-and-forth verbal war between the Garcia and Haney camps.
However, before that possible rematch can take place, Garcia has to win tonight.
On that note, so, too does Haney, as he will face Jose Ramirez in the co-main event. In the other featured bout, Teofimo Lopez and Arnold Barboza Jr. will settle their bitter rivalry, as well.
