UFC rookies will be forced to wear ‘Debut Patches’ starting this weekend in Las Vegas

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is rolling out “Debut Patches” for all Octagon newcomers starting with Andreas “Bane” Gustafsson in the UFC Vegas 107 “Prelims” lineup this Sat. night (May 31, 2025) at APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Gustafsson fights longtime veteran Trevin Giles at a catchweight of 180 pounds.

The 34 year-old Swede scored a UFC contract by annihilating Pat Pytlik on Dana White’s “Contender Series” last August. Following the bout, his patch will be removed and shipped off to Topps where it will be included in a future trading card.

Topps trading cards returned under a new licensing deal with Fanatics in early 2024.

UFC Vegas 107 will be headlined by the women’s flyweight showdown pitting Erin Blanchfield opposite Maycee Barber. Elsewhere on the card, Mateusz Gamrot returns to fight Ludovít Klein at 155 pounds.
