“Soulless” is back.
MMAmania.com confirmed with multiple sources today that Georgia’s very own, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Bantamweight Malcolm Wellmaker will welcome Kris Moutinho back to the promotion at UFC Atlanta next weekend (Sat., June 14, 2025), which goes down inside State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Wellmaker (9-0) turned heads in his UFC debut back in April at UFC Kansas City, knocking out Cameron Saiiman in two minutes (watch highlights).
Immediately after his knockout win, he called for a fight in his home state of Georgia, and while it took a little longer than expected, “The Machine” got it. Oh, and he also quit his job.
The 31-year-old holds a 78 percent finish rate with five brutal knockouts.

Moutinho (14-6) became infamous for stepping in to fight Sean O’Malley on a few days’ notice back at UFC 264, and while he got absolutely destroyed, fans loved the heart he gave in the fight.
“Soulless” had one more UFC fight against Guido Cannetti but got stopped in under three minutes via TKO (watch highlights).
The 32-year-old went back to the regional scene after getting released and scored five wins all via finish to punch his ticket back to UFC.
