Power meets precision.
Former middleweight title challenger, Jared Cannonier, has been booked to sling leather with fellow 185-pound striker, Michael Page, as part of the upcoming UFC 319 pay-per-view (PPV) event, recently made official for Sat., Aug. 16, 2025 at United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Cannonier (18-8) rebounded from back-to-back losses to Nassourdine Imavov (UFC Louisville) and Caio Borralho (UFC Vegas 96) to melt Gregory Rodrigues in the UFC Vegas 102 headliner just a few months back. UFC 319 will mark the first time in six fights that “Killa Gorilla” is not competing in the main event.
Page (23-3) has compiled a 2-1 record since crossing over from Bellator MMA back in early 2024. “Venom” sandwiched wins over Kevin Holland (UFC 299) and Shara Magomedov (UFC Saudi Arabia) around a decision loss to Ian Garry at UFC 303. The flashy Brit is three years younger than Cannonier at 38 years old.
UFC 319 will be headlined by the middleweight title fight pitting reigning division champion, Dricus Du Plessis, opposite undefeated challenger, Khamzat Chimaev — assuming “Borz” doesn’t pull out at the last minute. Elsewhere on the card, Gerald Meerschaert battles Michal Oleksiejczuk at 185 pounds.
Expect more UFC 319 fight card announcements in the coming weeks.
