For example, a two-night stay at NH Asoke Bangkok including breakfast is priced at $133.46 USD including taxes and fees. If you’re a Gold member (you should be if you’ve registered for the previous promotion), you’ll be earning:

• D$13 from the 2x D$ (Gold normally earns 5%, now 10%)
• D$5 from booking through the app

That’s D$48 back on a $133 stay—a 36% return in rewards.

Of course, hotel quality may vary depending on the brand and property. While they might not always match the consistency of Marriotts or Hiltons, I’ve generally found GHA Discovery properties to be more than decent—and sometimes surprisingly great.

Which Credit Card Should You Use?

Because your stay will likely be charged in foreign currency, the best practice is to pay with a credit card with no foreign transaction fees and strong base earning or a card that earns multiplier in travel purchase category.
