From now until February 28, 2026, GHA Discovery is running a lucrative new promotion that rewards travellers for trying different hotel brands across its network.
Instead of a single-stay bonus, this promotion encourages you to hop between brands. Complete two-night stays at multiple GHA brands, and you’ll earn escalating Discovery Dollar bonuses — up to D$825 in total.
If you already tend to mix and match hotels while travelling, this is one of the most rewarding GHA promotions we’ve seen in a while.
What Is GHA Discovery?
GHA Discovery is the loyalty program of Global Hotel Alliance, a network of over 40 independent luxury hotel brands operating in 100+ countries.
It’s the home of brands like Anantara, Avani, Capella, NH Collection, Pan Pacific, and more.
Rather than earning traditional points, members earn Discovery Dollars (D$), a cash-equivalent currency that can be redeemed for room nights, spa services, and other on-property extras.
D$ are easy to use, don’t involve complicated charts, and are worth exactly $1 USD per D$.
Earn Up to D$825 with Brand-to-Brand Stays
This promotion runs on a tiered, cumulative structure, rewarding you for staying at different GHA brands, not just different hotels.

To participate, you’ll need to register by February 28, 2026. Eligible stays must take place between December 1, 2025 and May 31, 2026, with each qualifying stay consisting of at least two consecutive nights.
Once registered, you’ll earn bonus Discovery Dollars as follows:
- D$50 after your 2nd unique brand stay
- D$75 after your 3rd unique brand stay
- D$100 for each 4th to 10th unique brand stay
That adds up to a maximum of D$825 in bonus rewards, on top of your usual Base D$ earnings.
Each qualifying stay must be at a different GHA brand, not just a different hotel. Notably, NH Hotels, NH Collection, and nhow Hotels are grouped together and count as a single brand for the purposes of this promotion.
All stays must be booked directly through the GHA Discovery website or app, or via the individual hotel brand’s website or app. Stays booked before registration, or through third-party online travel agencies, won’t qualify.
Bonus Discovery Dollars issued under this promotion are valid for six months from the date of issuance, while any Base D$ earned will follow the standard tier-based expiration rules.
GHA Discovery is also running a where you can earn an extra D$5 per stay when booking From September 1 to December 30, 2025
eligible rates at participating Pan Pacific, PARKROYAL COLLECTION, or PARKROYAL properties.
The stay itself can take place anytime up to March 31, 2026.
Participating brands
- Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts
- PARKROYAL COLLECTION Hotels & Resorts
- PARKROYAL Hotels & Resorts
The bonus applies to each eligible stay, not just once per member, making it an easy way to stack small but consistent rewards if you’re moving between cities.
Key conditions to know
- Book directly via the Pan Pacific or GHA Discovery website or app
- Stay must be completed by March 31, 2026
- Each stay is evaluated individually (no cumulative spend)
- Consecutive back-to-back stays at the same property won’t qualify
- Bonus D$ are valid for three months from issuance
This promo stacks nicely with Base D$ earnings and works particularly well for travellers planning stays in Canada, the UK, Australia, and Asia, where Pan Pacific Hotels Group has a strong footprint.
There’s also another bonus you can stack: you’ll earn an extra D$5 just for booking your stay via the GHA Discovery mobile app.

Absolutely. Here’s why this one stands out:
- D$50 after your 2nd unique brand stay
- D$75 after your 3rd unique brand stay
- D$100 for each 4th–10th unique brand stay
- Up to D$825 in total bonus Discovery Dollars
- Bonus D$ earned on top of your usual Base D$ earnings
All bonuses are cumulative, meaning the more brands you try, the more rewarding the promotion becomes.
Unlike single-stay promos that cap your upside quickly, this one scales well for travellers who move between cities or countries. Even completing just two or three brand stays still yields meaningful value, while longer trips with five or more brands can deliver a very strong return.
While GHA’s fixed-value rewards aren’t designed for aspirational “sweet spots” like free luxury nights at minimal cost, they’re refreshingly straightforward and transparent. You won’t have to worry about blackout dates or dynamic pricing. 1 D$ = 1 USD, always.
Of course, hotel quality can vary by brand and property. While GHA hotels may not always offer the same level of consistency as Marriott or Hilton, I’ve generally found GHA Discovery properties to be more than decent — and occasionally surprisingly good, especially in Asia-Pacific and Europe.

Example: NH Bangkok Asoke + Pan Pacific Singapore Orchard
Let’s say you book the following two stays as part of a multi-city trip:
- Two nights at NH Bangkok Asoke, including breakfast, priced at $133.46 USD (taxes and fees included)
- Two nights at Pan Pacific Singapore Orchard, priced at SGD 446 per night, or SGD 892 total (roughly $691 USD)
Assume you’re a Gold member, and both stays are booked directly.
Here’s what you’d earn:
Stay 1: NH Bangkok Asoke
- Base D$ at 5%: ~D$7
- No brand-to-brand bonus yet (this is your first unique brand)
- D$5 bonus for booking through the GHA Discovery app
Stay 2: Pan Pacific Singapore Orchard
- Base D$ at 5%: ~D$34
- D$50 brand-to-brand bonus (for completing your second unique brand stay)
- D$5 bonus for booking through the GHA Discovery app
- D$5 bonus for booking a participating Pan Pacific Hotels Group property
In total, you’d earn roughly D$106 back across these two stays, before even factoring in any future redemptions or additional brand stays.
And importantly, those rewards are cash-equivalent. No charts, no guessing, no dynamic pricing — 1 D$ = $1 USD, period.

Which Credit Card Should You Use?
Because your stay will likely be charged in foreign currency, the best practice is to pay with a credit card with no foreign transaction fees and strong base earning or a card that earns multiplier in travel purchase category.
A suite of Scotiabank credit cards fit the bill perfectly, offering great earn rates and no FX fees.
Among them, the Scotiabank Passport® Visa Infinite Privilege* Card earns 3 Scene+ points per dollar spent on travel and does not charge any foreign transaction fees, making it a great option
Alternatively, the BMO VIPorter World Elite®* Mastercard® offers 2x points on hotel purchases. We value VIPorter points at 1.5 cents per point, giving you an effective 3% return on hotel spend.
However, it does charge a 2.5% FX fee, and the net return (roughly 0.5% after adjusting for FX and value) may only be worthwhile if you’re collecting VIPorter points for a specific redemption.
BMO VIPorter World Elite®* Mastercard®*
- Earn 20,000 VIPorter points upon spending $5,000 in the first 110 days
- Plus, earn an additional 20,000 VIPorter points upon spending $9,000 in the first 180 days
- Plus, earn an additional 30,000 VIPorter points upon spending $18,000 in the first 365 days
- Then, earn 3x VIPorter points per dollar spent on Porter purchases
- And, earn 2x VIPorter points per dollar spent on gas, transportation, dining, groceries, and hotels
- Get one free checked bag and one free carry-on bag for yourself and up to eight guests on the same booking
- Priority airport services & priority rebooking in the event of delays
- Earn Qualifying Spend towards Avid Traveller status
- Annual fee: $199 (rebated in the first year)
Conclusion
This GHA Discovery brand-to-brand promotion is one of the more compelling hotel offers we’ve seen lately, especially for travellers who naturally move between cities and don’t stick to just one hotel brand.
With up to D$825 in bonus rewards, fixed-value redemptions where 1 D$ always equals $1 USD, and multiple stacking opportunities along the way, the value adds up quickly—even if you only complete a few qualifying stays.
It won’t replace traditional hotel programs for aspirational redemptions, but for straightforward, cash-like rewards with minimal friction, this promotion hits a sweet spot. As long as you register early and plan to use the bonus D$ within six months, it’s an easy way to make your hotel spending work a bit harder.
I’ll personally be keeping a closer eye on GHA Discovery options for upcoming trips—especially when hopping between cities where brands like NH, Pan Pacific, and Anantara are easy to mix into the same itinerary.
