More details are emerging about Britney Spears following her most recent incident. Reports say that the mother of two was pulled over on Wednesday in Westlake Village.
The pop star, who has been through her share of personal issues over the years, was apparently taken to the hospital after being stopped by police. This was allegedly so that they could perform a toxicology test on the Toxic singer. Following that, she was reportedly taken to the Ventura County Jail in the early morning hours of Thursday before being released.

It’s another bad look in what has been a troubling few years for Britney. After allegedly having her blood taken at the hospital, the Crossroads actress is reportedly claiming to people that her blood alcohol level was 0.06 according to TMZ. If that’s confirmed to be true, then it’s below the legal limit in California of 0.08.
Even if she was below the legal limit, though, that doesn’t mean she might not be liable for something. You can still be charged with driving under the influence (DUI), as Britney was, if officers observe erratic driving.
Cade Hudson, Britney’s representative, has called the incident “unfortunate” and “completely inexcusable.” Cade adds that they are taking steps towards giving her the help she needs. This includes her two sons coming to see her and her loved ones helping with a recovery plan.
Britney got plenty of negative publicity in 2025. Much of it came after her ex-husband and the father of her children, Kevin Federline, published a shocking tell-all book. The memoir alleged that Britney had snorted coke while breastfeeding their4 kids.
