26 Shows on Netflix That Couples Can Binge-Watch Together

Finding a new show is difficult for many reasons, but starting a series and sticking to it with another person is a challenge that many couples try their best to overcome. Date nights spent at home (however you define “Netflix and chill”) and lazy Sundays with your significant other are great for movie marathons and binge-watching shows. Still, when it comes to a whole series, there are a few things to consider: attention spans, interests, and time commitments.

Can you and your partner keep up with an hour-long episode, or is it less than 30 minutes more your speed? Do the two of you need a decent blend of comedy and drama, or are you more interested in the sci-fi, fantasy, or horror genres? Lastly, consider how long the two of you are willing to stick to a series, because some shows have more than a few seasons.

If you and your partner find yourselves stuck in a rut, check out these shows on Netflix that couples can successfully binge-watch together.

‘Big Mistakes’ (2026)

Big Mistakes follows two woefully incapable siblings, pastor Nicky (Dan Levy) and school teacher Morgan (Taylor Ortega), who bumble their way into a blackmail plot. With every bad decision, they dig themselves deeper into a hole, becoming the least likely and most awkward criminal team. Dan Levy, who stars in and created the series, also wrote Schitt’s Creek, making this one a must-watch for fans of his work.

For couples who enjoy crime comedies that lean into the laughs, backed by some chaotic happenings, Big Mistakes is a highly bingeable outing. Those couples who like to laugh at family dynamics will notably enjoy this one, and at only eight episodes, getting through it is a breeze; here’s hoping this uproarious comedy gets renewed.

‘Orphan Black’ (2013–2017)

BBC America

Orphan Black follows Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany), a streetwise orphan who finds a potential way out of her life when she witnesses the suicide of a woman who looks exactly like her. Taking on her identity, Sarah soon embarks on a deeper investigation into a shadowy organization cloning people. Sarah lives over a dozen lives across five seasons, trying to piece together the puzzle of why clones are being made.

Couples who love a gripping sci-fi mystery packed with sharp twists, dark humor, and complex characters will find themselves sucked right into the world of Orphan Black; plus, having fun picking your favorite clones is always a conversation starter. With all five complete seasons available to stream, there has never been a better time to dive into this sci-fi gem on Netflix; you can also watch the spin-off, Orphan Black: Echoes, afterward.

It is hard to believe that it took the creator of Squid Game 10 years to find a company to take an interest in his idea. When Netflix released the show in 2021, it didn’t take long to reach the top of the charts. Millions of people easily binged the single season in one night or over the weekend, and they’ve been craving more ever since.

The concept is unique and raises the question of how desperate average people must be to risk their lives for a large cash prize. The South Korean survival series features 456 players as they battle to win a ₩45.6 billion grand prize, engaging in brutal fights to the death and psychological warfare in their pursuit of the cash. The show’s third season also marked its final one, and with all seasons now released, couples can revisit the series or approach it anew and binge all episodes.

‘The Gentlemen’ (2024 – Present)

Theo James stars in The Gentlemen Netflix

Netflix’s thrilling streaming knockout, The Gentlemen, was created by director Guy Ritchie and is a spin-off of his popular 2019 film of the same name, with the action comedy series starring Theo James as Edward “Eddie” Horniman, who must learn to navigate a complex and dangerous world full of nefarious criminals after he inherits his father’s lucrative weed empire. With the help of the brilliant and knowledgeable Susie Glass (Kaya Scodelario), Eddie must stay one step ahead of his competitors to safely extract his family from the business.

Audiences worldwide couldn’t get enough of James’ commanding performance as the resilient Eddie Horniman, and they loved how the show expertly blended crime and comedy while brilliantly capturing the essence of the original movie. The Gentlemen is full of juicy twists and turns, featuring the additional talents of stars like Giancarlo Esposito, Daniel Ings, and Ray Winstone. It skyrocketed to Netflix’s Top Ten list and swiftly became a must-see streaming hit. A second season is currently in post-production and confirmed for a Fall 2026 Netflix release, with the story expanding to the Italian lakes as Eddie and Susie navigate an increasingly volatile empire.

Each season introduces new hopeful romantics alongside fan favorites returning with updates on their efforts. Focused on positivity, the show is guided through candid interviews with each individual and captures their support system.

Unlike the vast majority of reality dating shows, there is no manufactured conflict here and nothing but an authentic optimism about those born on the autism spectrum. Couples will find themselves rooting for, feeling emotionally invested in, and entertained by its cast. There are spin-offs of the program, including Love on the Spectrum Australia on Netflix, for those who binge their way through the series.

Fans of fellow hit shows based on literary knockouts like Reacher and Cross will enjoy joining Peter on his dangerous globe-trotting adventure to uncover the truth. Couples will find themselves deeply invested in the FBI agent’s engrossing and complex relationship with brilliant cybersecurity wiz Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan). The show has grown season by season, and its third installment, which premiered on February 19, 2026, sent Peter on a globe-spanning mission from Istanbul to Mexico City, marking the most well-received season to date.

Talented TV and film sensation Kaitlyn Dever portrays real-life Australian wellness guru and convicted scammer Belle Gibson in the crime drama miniseries Apple Cider Vinegar, which chronicles the shocking true story of the social media personality who pretended to have terminal cancer and lied about healing her many ailments through alternative medicine, diet, and exercise. Gibson’s lucrative online empire came crumbling down when she was exposed as a fraud in 2015, prompting public outcry and the involvement of the federal court.

For couples who love to sink their teeth into a juicy crime series, Apple Cider Vinegar is the perfect way to spend the evening, as Gibson’s salacious lies, mounting exaggerations, and inconsistencies are ultimately exposed, making each episode more exhilarating than the last. Dever has already showcased her stellar acting chops in hit shows like Justified and Dopesick, and fans of both the actress and crime genre will be riveted from beginning to end as they watch Gibson’s carefully crafted image implode.

‘Running Point’ (2025–Present)

Comedy and sports lovers are in for quite the treat with the exciting series Running Point, which features Golden Globe-winner Kate Hudson as Isla Gordon, a reformed party girl who is given the opportunity of a lifetime when she becomes the president of her family’s pro basketball team, the Los Angeles Waves. Brenda Song, Justin Theroux, and Max Greenfield are just a few of the familiar faces that round out the stacked cast of Running Point, which is inspired by the life and career of Jeanie Buss, who is the controlling owner and president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Hudson’s undeniable charisma and impressive comedic timing in her portrayal of Isla helped the series make a major splash upon its debut, as viewers appreciated how Running Point peels back the curtain on the NBA world and everything that goes on behind the scenes.
