Brand-new details about the plot of The White Lotus season 4, as well as the budget, have just been revealed.
The White Lotus season 4, which has a reported budget of $120 million, will center around the Cannes Film Festival. And according to producer David Bernad, “French aloofness” will play a big role in the new season.
This idea came about after he went to dinner one night, during which a waiter and a maître d’ played into French stereotypes. “It was a very funny moment,” Bernad explained to Variety. “And I think that it suddenly unlocked what the show is and the dynamics of the show. We literally canceled all the other places we were going. We were like, okay, we’re shooting here.”
