Congratulations, lefties! You broke the system

Congratulations to the Left. To all the progressives, socialists, communists, anarchists and former normal liberals, you won! You pulled it off.

You’ve completely undermined the county, the city, the electoral process and democracy itself. And you did it without 99% of the population even aware of what was coming.

Those in progressive crowd are incredibly patient and methodical. Inch by inch, they infiltrated nearly all the elective offices, bureaucracies, and most of the media. They are a relentless force, a malignancy that has choked the joy out of everyday life in many parts of Los Angeles. More on that in a moment.

But first, here’s what they did to make certain Spencer Pratt was knocked out of the runoff. Starting in 2018, under Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsom, the supermajority Democratic Legislature began the process of creating an entirely new electoral system. They greatly expanded it in 2020 under the cover of COVID-19, so everyone on the voter rolls is mailed a ballot.

What was to be temporary was made permanent. They added some finishing touches in 2026.

At the same time, they successfully created a homeless industry and emotionally manipulated the voters into thinking we’re all responsible for every drug addict or mentally ill person who got thrown out of the house by his family and made his way here.

It’s estimated by the investigative journalist Christopher Rufo that about two-thirds of the street people are from out of town, half from out of state. The progressives convinced voters to tax themselves billions of dollars and then opened or aligned with hundreds of “nonprofits” to take the money.

Tens of thousands live in the streets, with thousands dying every year.

Meanwhile, we pay for the meth pipes, crack pipes, syringes, and even the drugs themselves.

The Legislature created an absurd system, in which the “nonprofit” employees or others can wander the streets, registering the homeless to vote. The vagrant’s address might be the nonprofit’s facility. One shelter had 1,160 voters listed, with 120 beds.

As The California Post has reported, a number of men and women who live on Skid Row have said hey were paid to vote for Mayor Karen Bass or Councilwoman Nithya Raman.

Homeless people told reporters they were given cigarettes or money, for example, in exchange for signatures and voter registrations.

So surely, the homeless industry will continue raking in billions under either Bass or Raman. The money will continue to disappear.

And that’s why the police and fire departments will remain underfunded. Potholes will increase in number, and the sidewalks will stay busted up. The streetlights will stay dark. That sense of fear that a crazy person might attack you will continue.

This is what Spencer Pratt was talking about. Of course, he had to be silenced.

And the joy of daily life? My wife and I can’t walk on the beach, stroll in the park, go downtown to the theater, go window shopping, or buy groceries without our heads on a swivel or looking down for human waste.

The Palisades is gone, along with our friends’ homes and the restaurants where we used to meet.

Once again: Congratulations, progressives. You won. Enjoy the ruins. Some of us may be leaving to rejoin civilization.
