Big Brother is back this week, and that means the Houseguests have been revealed. Well, at least some of them. The Season 28 cast includes an American Idol contestant, a drag queen, a game show host, an MMA fighter, and more.
14 new Houseguests are set to enter the game on July 9. Two more houseguests — a Big Brother and Survivor alum — were announced hours before the premiere. There are rumors that a second Survivor alum will join the game later. Find out who below.
During the CBS show’s first-ever Broveal, which took place on Big Brother‘s YouTube page at 12pm EST/9am PST. There, host Julie Chen Moonves took fans through the Time-Trip themed house for the first five minutes. Then, the houseguests were revealed one by one.
This season’s cast includes an MMA fighter, rocket scientist, game show host, vineyard executive, daughter of an ’80s pop star, a Drag Race All-Star, among others. This new group of houseguests is stepping into a summer where nothing is as it seems, where every twist rewrites the rules, and where time becomes the ultimate twist. Big Brother follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with more than 100 cameras and 100 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week, someone will be voted out of the house, with the last remaining Houseguest receiving the grand prize of $750,000. The runner-up takes home $75,000, and America’s Favorite Houseguest receives $50,000. Fans can tune in 24/7 to the live feeds to see what isn’t shown on TV.
