Chip and Joanna Gaines‘ son Crew is putting his summer break to good use.
Joanna shared a rare video of the couple’s youngest child via Instagram on Thursday, July 16. In the clip, Joanna filmed Crew preparing for his very own Magnolia farm stand by picking fresh produce from their garden, including a basket of tomatoes, a watermelon, and home-grown flowers. Crew assembled his farm stand, aptly named “Crew’s Farm Stand,” inside of Magnolia’s headquarters in Waco, Texas.
“Busy morning at the office for Crew — His farm stand sold out in the first hour!” Gaines captioned the clip, which saw dozens of Magnolia employees purchase goods from the 8-year-old. “Proud little boy. Proud mama (to the @magnolia and @magnoliarealty team, thanks for supporting him!).”
Fans gushed over the adorable video in the post’s comments. “Stop it right now! That’s too cute. Want to know if his marketing style is more like his mom’s with style and whimsy or his dads with sarcasm and jokes,” one user wrote. Another added, “If I was there, I would buy him out!”
Someone else shared, “The cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time!” A different person posted, “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! love this.” A separate commenter stated, “Stop it! The care he puts into setting everything out is so sweet.”
Chip also hopped in the comments, writing, “I know you’re not supposed to have favorites.. but he’s my favorite! (8yr old).” (The couple also share kids Drake, Ella, Duke, and Emmie.)
The couple often choose to keep their children’s faces off of social media. The kids, however, have made a handful of appearances on Chip and Joanna’s various TV shows over the years, most making cameos on Magnolia Network and HGTV‘s Fixer Upper: Colorado Mountain House.
Earlier this month, Joanna shared a story about a funny text she got from her eldest son, Drake. “Who was the last person I texted? My son, Drake,” she said in an Instagram video shared by MasterClass on July 8. “[He said,] ‘Mom, I’m scared.’ Second text, ‘I’m making chicken.’ Third text, ‘I think I’m gonna accidentally poison myself.’ Fourth text, ‘How do I make chicken?’”
Joanna said she replied to his question with a phone call, adding, “I didn’t want him to get food poisoning.”
As summer continues, Joanna is gearing up to send Drake and her eldest daughter, Ella, back to college. Back in August 2025, the TV personality got emotional as her kids prepared for their third and first years of school.
“This season already feels like one big, breathless surrender. Lord, how do I hold them close while also letting go?” she wrote alongside an Instagram snap of moving boxes. “Help me to embrace change with a heart filled with hope for the part I know to be truer than the rest—my kids and I may have been made for each other, but I also believe they were made for more. More experiences, more knowledge, more growing than could ever happen within our walls.”
She continued, “To all the parents packing up and moving kids to new places, and to all those with years still to spare: hold them close, hold them well, and let’s all lean on each other when the time comes to hold it together.”
