The White House is weighing in on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding with a social media post that mocked the superstar couple’s celebration at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Given the well-documented feud between President Donald Trump and the pop superstar, it came as little surprise when the White House shared an edited image on social media after Swift and Kelce tied the knot on Friday (July 3).
In the altered photo, the venue’s digital marquee was changed to read, “Trump Is Your President.”
“IT’S HAPPENED!!!” the White House captioned the meme on X.
The post referenced the real marquee outside the iconic New York City venue, which Madison Square Garden had shared on Instagram to commemorate the occasion. The original sign read, “JUST&T MARRIED!” in black lettering against a pink background, confirming that the couple had wed.
The day before, the White House shared another image on its official X account referencing Swift with an Eras Tour-inspired poster featuring Trump. “It’s been a long time coming…,” the caption read.
Trump and Swift have been publicly feuding since 2018, with tensions escalating after the singer endorsed Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election. Trump later responded by posting, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” on Truth Social.
The president later struck a more conciliatory tone following Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s engagement last August.
“No, I think he’s a great player, I think he’s a great guy,” Trump said during a meeting. “I think that she’s a terrific person. So I wish them a lot of luck.”
