Rotten Tomatoes officially released its initial Popcornmeter score for Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day, based on the percentage of audience reviews that were positive. As of Aug. 1, this movie has a 98% average for positive reviews with over 10,000 reviews, giving it the highest Popcornmeter score of any solo Spider-Man movie ever, live-action or animated. The record was previously held by Brand New Day‘s predecessor, 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, which boasts a 97% score with over 50,000 reviews.
