‘High Potential’ Season 3: Kaitlin Olson Reveals First Look at Morgan and Karadec Behind the Scenes

What To Know

  • High Potential fans are getting their first look at Morgan and Karadec’s Season 3 return as star Kaitlin Olson shares a behind-the-scenes photo.
  • What does the image reveal about their current dynamic?

High Potential may not return until 2027, but star Kaitlin Olson is giving fans a taste of what’s to come in Season 3 with the first look at her character, Morgan Gillory, and partner Adam Karadec (Daniel Sunjata).

On Saturday, September 12, Olson decided to excite viewers with a peek behind the filming curtain with a first photo of her and Sunjata in costume as their characters: the LAPD consultant with a high IQ and the determined investigator who has become her closest confidant. For some viewers, this could also hint at the direction of Morgan’s romantic life, as some long for “Morgadec” to become a reality.

Since the series began in 2024, High Potential has hinted at the will-they-won’t-they dynamic between Morgan and Karadec, and in Season 2, that was continued, but briefly thwarted by the arrival of the LAPD’s new captain, Nick Wagner (Steve Howey), who ignited a romance with the consultant. But as viewers will recall, Wagner’s fate was left uncertain after he was stabbed in a park late at night in the Season 2 finale.

Is Morgan going to seek comfort in Karadec’s arms? This image could hint at that very real possibility, as he’s also still reeling from the deterioration of his relationship with Lucia (Susan Kelechi Watson), who was found guilty of a crime in Season 2’s closing episodes.

But what do you think? Olson kept the text attached to the image vague, using the emoji of a brain and a detective, respectively, representing Morgan and Karadec’s roles in their dynamic.

Additionally, it’s hard to tell where they’re posing for the image, as it doesn’t appear to be the LAPD precinct. Could it hint at their ongoing investigation into the whereabouts of Morgan’s missing ex, Roman? Let us know your thoughts and theories in the comments section below, and stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes looks as Season 3 filming continues.
