Prince Harry’s next media move appears to be taking shape following his return to the UK. Insiders suggest a podcast could be next on his agenda. As reported by Woman’s Day, Harry follows several podcasters and has taken note of Mike Tindall’s podcast and how it helped “make William and Kate seem so much more personable.”
The podcast idea reportedly ties into his commercial ambitions in Britain. This makes the podcast and radio circuit a logical next step for the Sussexes. Harry is no stranger to the format, having made a surprise appearance in the Joe Marler Will See You Now podcast earlier this year.
Beyond a standalone podcast, attention has also turned to a documentary honoring his mother, Princess Diana. The outlet reported that the bigger project centres on a Diana documentary, with Harry reportedly reaching out to several of his mother’s old friends. Additionally, an audiotape series tied to Diana, released alongside the documentary, is reportedly being discussed.
However, the family dynamic remains tense, especially with the firm letter of guidance issued by King Charles. Still, the source claims that Harry has not given up hope that Charles will grant him access to royal archive material. Such sources straight from the palace archives would undoubtedly strengthen his project.
Prince William, meanwhile, is said to be watching closely, though his options are limited. The source explained that William never comments on Harry’s media work. The Prince of Wales also cannot legally stop his brother from recording a podcast or documentary.
So, all he can do is withhold cooperation and archive access while keeping the family at a distance, which also seems to be the Palace’s approach. So far, Harry’s representatives have not confirmed his next media appearance or plans in the UK.
