Amelia Dimoldenberg Has One Last Trick Up Her Sleeve for ‘Chicken Shop Date’

Amelia Dimoldenberg has one final surprise planned for Chicken Shop Date fans before the popular YouTube series comes to an end. After 12 years of awkward celebrity interviews and memorable moments, the host is taking the show’s final episodes to movie theaters. The special screening will also give fans an early look at the highly anticipated finale.

Amelia Dimoldenberg Brings Chicken Shop Date to Cinemas

Amelia Dimoldenberg is bringing “Chicken Shop Date: The Final Series” to cinemas for one night on November 24, 2026. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the screenings will take place across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Paris in partnership with YouTube’s Cine Club.

The theatrical release will combine all six episodes of the final series into one film, alongside exclusive new material. It will end with the unreleased Chicken Shop Date finale, giving moviegoers an early look before the final episode arrives on YouTube on November 27.

The latest interviews feature Oasis musician Noel Gallagher, singer Jorja Smith, and musician Role Model. Beyond the celebrity conversations, the film will explore Dimoldenberg’s relationship with the show and explain why she decided to bring it to an end after 12 years.

Fans can attend screenings at select Vue, Picturehouse, and Curzon cinemas, including venues in London, Brighton, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Paris will also host a screening at mk2 Bibliothèque. Organizers have scheduled invite-only premieres in London and New York, with Dimoldenberg participating in question-and-answer sessions.

Dimoldenberg launched Chicken Shop Date on YouTube in 2014, turning awkward conversations inside chicken shops into a recognizable celebrity interview format. Over the years, the series welcomed guests including Andrew Garfield, Billie Eilish, Cher, and Paul Mescal. Its deadpan humor helped attract a worldwide following.

In September, Dimoldenberg announced that she was ready to move on from the project. The upcoming screenings will give viewers a chance to watch its final installment together, rather than discover the ending individually online.

Although Chicken Shop Date is ending, Dimoldenberg has other projects in development. For fans who have followed her unconventional dates for years, the cinema event promises a fitting farewell to the series that helped launch her career.
