Charles Dance needs no introduction, as fans know him for his iconic roles. However, Game of Thrones added another layer to his fame and helped expand his fan base. Unfortunately, fans of Game of Thrones and Charles Dance have some concerning news following a crash involving the actor in London.
Charles Dance is pictured beside an injured woman after a reported e-bike collision in London
According to The Sun’s coverage, the 79-year-old stood near a woman who lay “covered in blood” on the road after an accident involving a Lime bike, a rental electric bicycle. Eyewitnesses also reported that a Lexus played a role in the crash, with visible impact marks on its bumper.
A witness said, “It was an almighty thump. There was this girl on the floor, and the Lexus was badly damaged.”
“She was visibly upset and shocked. She was conscious, but when she tried to get up she collapsed and was just lying there. Charles moved her handbag out the way, that’s when we gathered around and realised it was him,” they added.
According to the witness, the woman appeared to be in shock and had blood coming from her leg. An ambulance later took her to the hospital. Meanwhile, eyewitnesses said Charles Dance looked like he “couldn’t believe it.”
According to the coverage, reporters contacted the Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, and Dance’s representatives for comment on the matter.
For context, the October 4, 2026 incident involving Charles Dance appears to be the first such incident linked to the actor, as there is no mention of a similar accident in his past. However, the only other bike-related incident associated with him took place on a movie set. During the filming of the 1981 James Bond film For Your Eyes Only, he injured his shoulder while performing a stunt. He received pain medication and, despite the injury, still had to ride a motorcycle for a scene. However, no actual accident took place there.
