As the temperatures drop and demand for winter breaks increases, Jet2 has reinforced its No Fuel Surcharges guarantee. This means customers can book their Winter 2026/27 flights and holidays without fearing added costs. The airline has repeated its promise that customers will not face a fuel surcharge after booking.
Put simply, the price customers book is the price they will pay. The renewed commitment comes as millions of people plan their winter sun, city, Christmas market and ski breaks. Jet2 was the first UK airline and tour operator to make this commitment earlier this year, removing the surcharge provision across all flights and holidays.
The guarantee continues to apply to all flights and holidays across all seasons on sale including Summer 27, Winter 27/28 and Summer 28. It applies to all Jet2 flights and holidays booked through any channel whether online, mobile app, contact centre or via an independent travel agent.
David Hills, chief customer officer at Jet2 said: “Customers work and save hard for their holidays, so they deserve certainty from the moment they book. As they plan their getaways this winter and beyond, we are reaffirming our No Fuel Surcharges guarantee and making it clear that the price customers book with Jet2 is the price they will pay, with no fuel surcharge added later. That reassurance applies to all customers booking with Jet2, whatever time of year they choose to travel, making now the perfect time to book that well-deserved holiday.”
The news comes after Hills revealed his booking hacks to help holidaymakers get the best value and choice for 2027. Hills shared how Brits looking to book their next holiday can save money and find the cheapest dates and destinations. From exploring a range of payment options to considering changing how long you plan to be away, the tips could help ensure you get the best deal.
Mr Hills said: “Booking early puts holidaymakers in the strongest position to secure the break they really want. They can lock in today’s price for a low deposit, spread the cost over more time and choose from our huge range of destinations, hotels and rooms.”
He added: “The most sought-after hotels and rooms fill up quickly, so planning ahead gives customers greater choice, more control over their budget and longer to look forward to and plan their well-deserved holiday.”
