We’ve got questions, and maybe you’ve got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about “Dancing With the Stars,” “Scrubs,” “Best Medicine,” and more!
1 | “A Different World” fans: With Ellington being revealed as Denise Huxtable’s son and Dwayne calling his old friend up, does this open the door for a possible Lisa Bonet and/or Raven-Symoné appearance in Season 2? Or would you rather see Clair Huxtable return to her alma mater, perhaps?
2 | Should NBC have maybe added “(No Pun Intended)” to the “Newlyweds” slogan, seeing as the show stars “Wings” alum Tim Daly?
3 | How upset were you when you realized you’d stayed up for Sunday’s football- and VMAs-delayed “Big Brother,” only for the majority of the episode to be a clip show — one that didn’t even show the entirety of the new Head of Household competition?
We’re also wondering…
4 | C’mon, “All American”: You mean to tell us these delightfully chunky babies are twins delivered several weeks prematurely? Also, did you find the series finale’s mention of long-gone character JJ a little jarring, especially given Hunter Clowdus’ messy exit from the show?
5 | Is it telling that the only recognizable talking head in the trailer for Netflix’s Sony-produced (not Warner-produced) Matthew Perry docuseries is former NBC Entertainment president Warren Littlefield? None of his “Friends” co-stars appear, nor do any co-stars from his other projects. Were they approached to participate — and, if so, did they decline?
6 | On “Best Medicine,” despite Louisa’s explanation, didn’t the town’s ketchup prank seem uncharacteristically mean toward Martin?
We’d like to know…
7 | For those of you who are chronically online and saw photos of “West Wing” creator Aaron Sorkin at the premiere of his new movie “The Social Reckoning,” did his tan not immediately conjure memories of a certain “Friends” episode where Ross made the mistake of counting “Mississippily”?
8 | Were the “Dancing With the Stars” camera operators actually on a boat for Yacht Rock Night? What was up with those wobbly shots during the routines and accidental cuts to the crowd? And how bad did you feel for Britt Stewart when she turned to Taylor Hanson and said “I’m so sorry” immediately following their shocking elimination?
9 | “Scrubs” fans, how happy were you to see the return of J.D.’s beloved scooter Sasha — green-screen sequences notwithstanding? Which cameo was more random: Joey Fatone or Flavor Flav? And did any fellow “Shrinking” viewers’ ears perk up when J.D. invited Grant to “rawdog” rounds together?
We’re still curious about…
10 | On “Ted Lasso,” was Keeley asking Siri whether she’d be a good mother the most egregious Apple product placement in an Apple TV original yet? And Is Coach Beard morphing into Jamie Tartt?
11 | Did anyone else flee the “Shark Tank” premiere immediately when they saw MrBeast was one of the guest investors?
12 | On “Survivor,” were you surprised that Brady was able to stay in the game after chopping off a significant chunk of his thumb with an axe? And what was the worse move: Ana unnecessarily throwing around names, or Rob trying and failing to get himself voted out of the game?
13 | Wouldn’t this week’s “Outlander: Blood of My Blood” death have meant a whole lot more if the character had more than a handful of lines over the course of the show?
