The Points Travel Festival is coming to Toronto for the first time, and Prince of Travel will be there.
It will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport, with an optional Friday evening cocktail reception the night before.
After 16 editions in Chicago, this marks the festival’s first event outside the United States and its debut in Canada. With a lineup of over 20 speakers from across the Miles & Points community, it promises to be one of the most information-packed events of the year.
The Agenda
Registration and networking kick off at 8am, giving attendees a chance to grab coffee and settle in before sessions begin at 9am.
From there, the festival runs three concurrent parts until 5pm, each with roughly 14 sessions at 50 minutes apiece. You’re free to move between parts throughout the day, so you can tailor the experience to your interests.
The session lineup is tentative and subject to change, with additional panels to be announced.
Canada
The first part focuses squarely on the Canadian landscape:
- Aeroplan Expert Strategies
- Airline & Hotel Status Matching Roulette
- Clash of the Canadian Credit Cards
- Co-Brand Credit Cards in Canada
- Deep Dive into RBC Avion
- Bank Account Bonuses
If you’re looking to sharpen your Canadian credit card strategy or dive deeper into Aeroplan, this part alone could be worth the trip.
Global
Running alongside it is a part geared toward the global points ecosystem:
- Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN): Your Ticket to US Credit Cards
- Increasing Velocity with American Express USA
- Accessing US Buying Groups
- Casino Status Matches and Comp Cruises
- Maximizing Marriott Bonvoy: Great Redemptions and Elite Status
- Upgrade like a Hotel Pro: Smart Booking and Human Connection
For anyone exploring the US credit card landscape as a Canadian, the ITIN and American Express sessions should be particularly relevant.
Strategies
The third part takes a more hands-on approach:
- The Art of the Hunt: Mastering Flight Deals in Cash and Points
- Business of Content Creation – How Affiliate Marketing Works Behind the Scenes
- Award Search Tools: Tested and Rated
- Cracking the Family Travel Code: Travel Smarter When Standard Awards Don’t Help
- The Flight Positioning Playbook: Gateways to Unlocking First Class
- When Waiting Wins: Mastering Close-In Award Space
Lunch and two snack breaks are built into the schedule, with plenty of time for networking between sessions.
After the final session wraps at 5pm, a pre-party networking hour runs from 5 to 6pm, followed by the evening party from 6 to 9pm with appetizers and a drink ticket included.
Friday Evening Reception
For those arriving a day early, there’s an optional Friday evening cocktail reception on April 17 at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Terminal 3 at Pearson Airport, running from 5 to 9pm.
The add-on includes two drink tickets and hot appetizers.
Our Speaker
Amy Tung from the Prince of Travel team will be speaking at the festival. If you attend, be sure to say hello and catch her sessions.
The broader lineup includes names from across North America’s Miles & Points community, including Greg Davis-Kean and Nick Reyes of Frequent Miler, Patrick Sojka of Rewards Canada, Clint Henderson of The Points Guy, and Barry Choi of Money We Have, among many others.
The organizers have noted that the speaker lineup is still being finalized, with more to be announced.
Venue and Logistics
The main conference takes place at the Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport, located at 3311 Caroga Drive in Mississauga.
For those flying in, the hotel offers a complimentary 24/7 shuttle from Toronto Pearson Airport, which is roughly 10 minutes away.
