Travis Kelce Might Have Bought a $125,000 Gift for Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce has reportedly purchased an expensive $125,000 gift for his fiancée, Taylor Swift. Eagle-eyed fans noticed Swift sporting jewelry once owned by the late Elizabeth Taylor. It seems like Kelce may have purchased a rare Elizabeth Taylor opal jewelry suite for Swift as a grand romantic gesture.

Travis Kelce has reportedly gifted Elizabeth Taylor’s jewelry to Taylor Swift. Over the past few weeks, the pop star stepped out in various pieces from a collection of opal jewels hailing from Elizabeth Taylor’s estate. Previously, she wore a few pieces of jewelry bit by bit.

Recently, the singer made an appearance in Brooklyn on May 16 (via Page Six). Fans noticed the singer wearing the opal set. This included bracelets, a ring, and a pair of chandelier earrings. As per Fox Estate Jewellery’s Adam Fox, Kelce may have purchased the beautiful jewelry set for his fiancée.

Fox said, “This is a very interesting story that almost seems made up and if we didn’t have photographic evidence, it absolutely could be. We bought a set at the beginning or middle of last year from the Elizabeth Taylor collection that was sold through Christie’s in 2011.”

He continued, “Fast forward, we sold that set during Christmas time at the end of 2025.” Fox then highlighted the oddity in the matter since it was worth six figures. He added, “It seemed like it was a sports agent that bought it.” He then went on to say that he had to go through Instagram “this morning,” only to find that the purchase was for Taylor Swift.

“There’s pictures of her wearing them. So I don’t know if it was bought by Travis Kelce for Taylor Swift or Taylor Swift. I’m just kind of connecting the dots,” he added.

Darlene de Sedle was behind the set’s design. Christie’s sold the full suite in 2011 for $6,000, confirmed by the auction house to Page Six Style. Later, Fox’s company made the sale via 1stDibs in 2025 for $125,000.

Swifties are aware that the Grammy winner admires the late Elizabeth Taylor and dedicated a song to her on her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl”. She also has a track titled “Opalite” dedicated to Kelce, which happens to be his birthstone.
