From now until December 30, 2026, GHA Discovery members can earn up to D$150 in bonus Discovery Dollars by stringing together qualifying stays across Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts, PARKROYAL Collection, and PARKROYAL Hotels and Resorts.
D$1 equals $1 (USD), so the headline payout works out to roughly $210 (CAD) on top of whatever Base D$ you would already earn from your stays.
You’ll need to register for the promo before booking. Stays booked or completed before you opt in don’t count, even if they fall inside the eligible window.
How the Bonus Builds
The structure rewards staying at different properties, not racking up nights at a single hotel. The first qualifying stay earns nothing extra, and each one after that triggers a larger Promotional D$ payout.
- First eligible stay: no bonus
- Second eligible stay (different property): D$25
- Third eligible stay (different property): D$50
- Fourth eligible stay (different property): D$75
That caps your bonus at D$150 across four properties. Anything beyond a fourth stay won’t add to the total, and overlapping stays only count once.
Every stay needs a minimum of two consecutive nights, and each one must be at a different property. Multi-room bookings still count as a single stay.
Choosing Four Properties
PARKROYAL has no North American footprint, and Pan Pacific Vancouver remains the sole Pan Pacific property in Canada now that the Toronto location has closed. That leaves two realistic ways to play this from a Canadian starting point.
The first is to pair two Asia-Pacific stays on a single trip. A layover or split itinerary through Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, or Kuala Lumpur lines up easily for a multi-property bonus.
Otherwise, bank Pan Pacific Vancouver as one of the qualifying nights and pick up the rest abroad. If you’re already routing through Singapore, PARKROYAL Collection Marina Bay and Pan Pacific Orchard are easy multi-property pairings within walking distance of each other.

Stacking with Elite Status
Promotional D$ are paid on top of your Base D$. Base earning runs between 4% and 7% of eligible spend depending on your tier, with Platinum members earning a 25% bonus and Titanium members earning 50% on top of base.
If you’ve recently picked up the paid status match GHA Discovery brought back this month, you can park yourself at Platinum or Titanium before your first qualifying stay clears, which lifts the Base D$ ceiling on every booking that counts toward this promo.
Titanium members also get complimentary breakfast at Pan Pacific and PARKROYAL properties, which can tip your tier choice.

Use the App, Get Another D$5
The GHA Discovery app pays an extra D$5 per stay over what you’d earn booking on the website. No minimum spend, and it stacks with every other bonus in this promo.
Across four qualifying properties, that’s another D$20 on top of the D$150 promo bonus. Worth setting up the app before your first booking goes in.

Is It Worth Stacking All Four Stays?
The flat D$ bonuses do most of the work in this promo. Base earning at Pan Pacific and PARKROYAL runs between 5% and 7% depending on your tier, so where the math gets interesting is in how the stack lands across four properties.
Take four stays of two nights each at a representative $250 (USD) per night, for $2,000 (USD) of room spend across the promo.
At Titanium tier (7% base, paying through the app):
- Stay 1: D$35 base + D$5 app = D$40
- Stay 2: D$35 base + D$25 promo + D$5 app = D$65
- Stay 3: D$35 base + D$50 promo + D$5 app = D$90
- Stay 4: D$35 base + D$75 promo + D$5 app = D$115
- Total back: D$310 on $2,000 (USD) spend
That’s a 15.5% effective rebate, or roughly $430 (CAD) back. At Silver (no status, 4% base), the same itinerary still returns D$250, or about 12.5%.
Most hotel promos top out at 8% to 10% effective return. This one clears that bar even without elite status, and pushes past 15% if you’ve matched into Titanium first.
Which Credit Card Should You Use?
Pan Pacific and PARKROYAL stays in Asia will charge in local currency, so the card you pay with matters. Pick one with no foreign transaction fees and strong earning on travel.
The Scotiabank Passport® Visa Infinite Privilege* Card earns 3 Scene+ points per dollar on travel with no foreign transaction fees, which makes it the strongest pick. The Scotiabank Passport® Visa Infinite* Card and the Scotiabank Gold American Express® Card both offer the no-FX benefit at lower annual fees.
Keep in mind that you won’t earn D$ on the portion of a stay paid with Discovery Dollars. If you have D$ from buying at a discount or earning on a prior promo, plan to apply them to a separate stay rather than one of the four counting toward this bonus.
What Doesn’t Count
Three things to watch before you book.
Only direct channels count. Bookings through the Pan Pacific app, Pan Pacific website, GHA Discovery app, GHA Discovery website, or the hotel itself (phone or email) are eligible. Expedia, Booking.com, and similar third parties don’t qualify, and corporate, wholesale, crew, and other discounted rates are also excluded.
Promotional D$ expire six months after issuance, which is shorter than the standard tier-based expiration on Base D$. If you’re earning D$ later in the promo window, line up a redemption before the clock runs out. The GHA Discovery guide walks through how D$ get applied at checkout.
You’ll also want to finish your fourth stay before December 30, 2026. Any stay with a checkout date after that won’t earn the bonus, even if you booked it inside the window.
Pan Pacific tends to run one big promotion per year. Last November’s Singles Day Sale stacked 33% off room rates with triple D$, which delivered a stronger short-term return per stay than this promo offers.
What this one does that the Singles Day Sale didn’t is reward going broad. The flat bonuses are conditional on hitting different properties, so if your travel calendar already has you criss-crossing Singapore, Bangkok, or Manila over the next seven months, the structure here fits better than a single deep discount on one stay.
Two other GHA Discovery offers are running in parallel and pair naturally with this one: the recurring 15% off when you buy D$, and the headline paid status match that fast-tracks Titanium through 2027.
Conclusion
If you already have an Asia-Pacific trip on the calendar between now and December, this promo is essentially free money. You’re booking the same nights you would have booked anyway, just split across two or more participating properties instead of one.
My own stays across the GHA Discovery portfolio have been consistently strong, and if you align a few trips a year with promos like this one, the D$ rebates add up to real cashback by the end of the year. The collection earns a permanent spot on your shortlist for Asia trips, even if you’re already deep into one of the big chain loyalty programs.
If you don’t have an Asia trip on the books, the math gets thinner. D$150 in cashback isn’t enough on its own to justify manufacturing two stays at properties you wouldn’t otherwise pick, and the six-month expiry on Promotional D$ caps how long you have to actually use what you earn. Lock it in if your travel calendar fits, and skip it if you’d be reverse-engineering an itinerary around the bonus.
