High Potential Season 3 filming has officially commenced, and the stars are taking to social media to reveal behind-the-scenes looks at progress, including Kaitlin Olson, Javicia Leslie, Daniel Sunjata, and more.
While the fan-favorite drama may not return to TV screens until the midseason in 2027, viewers are getting their first glimpse at what’s to come as Olson and crew, including onscreen son Matthew Lamb, pull the curtain back on Season 3. In addition to the start of filming, Lamb’s tease offered a peek at the writers’ room, which is in full swing as new showrunners, sister team Lilla and Nora Zuckerman, take the helm.
Shared all the way back on June 29, Lamb wrote, “Best Day Ever at ‘work!’ So excited for Season 3 with our incredible writers and showrunners! Plus the nicest people ever!” Lamb’s post teased. As fans know, ABC‘s hit drama follows LAPD consultant Morgan Gillory (Olson) as she collaborates with detectives and parents her three kids, among whom is Lamb’s Elliot.
As viewers will recall, Season 2 ended with major cliffhangers, hinting at the potential arrival of her missing ex, Roman, and the stabbing of the new captain, Nick Wagner (Steve Howey). Whether or not these mysteries will be unraveled at the start of next season remains unclear, but the latest updates are sure to stir up excitement for those eager for a small tease from Season 3.
