‘The Pitt’ Officially Enters a New Era in Season 3

Joining the Dropping Names with Brent and Jonny podcast, The Pitt star Noah Wyle teased the start of a major mental health journey for Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch. While this will not be immediate, Wyle explained that it will “take a few seasons to get him to a place of health and wholeness.” Reflecting on the comparisons to the real-world COVID-19 pandemic and the effects it had on people, he noted that this helped inspire where The Pitt is going with the “collective pit” that the world has been in, as he explores those feelings through Dr. Robby:

“I think that will take a few seasons to get him to a place of health and wholeness. That was sort of the thesis is ‘The Pitt’ being the collective pit that we’ve all been in since COVID that we can’t quite get out [of], can we identify that feeling and personify it in one character that can be a little perspective for all of us as he makes his ascension.”

More to come…
