Red-hot welterweight prospect Carlos Prates is scheduled to collide with No. 7-ranked contender Ian Machado Garry atop the UFC Kansas City fight card on April 26 in Missouri. Prates was called out by “The Future” for being a “quitter” after this video leaked just a few days back.
Prates has a little message of his own.
“We’re here training, while Ian Garry is talking s—t on the Internet,” Prates said during a recent Instagram video. “You have a lot of free time — I’m here training. On the 26th, I’ll punch him in the mouth, then he’ll say he didn’t have the to train. A—hole.”
The bout was booked on short notice (because of this).
Prates (21-6) is 4-0 under the UFC banner with four brutal knockouts, including his first-round finish over Neil Magny last fall. Garry (15-1) is looking to rebound from the first loss of his pro career after dropping a decision to Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 310.
