Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is just over 24 hours away from the upcoming UFC Des Moines mixed martial arts (MMA) event, booked for tomorrow night (Sat., May 3, 2025) on ESPN2 and ESPN+ from inside Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. UFC Des Moines will be headlined by the bantamweight main event between Top 5 contenders Cory Sandhagen and Deiveson Figueiredo, a five-round headliner with serious title implications for late 2025 and beyond.
Before the ESPN2 and ESPN+ live streams gets underway this weekend in “The Hawkeye State,” which also feature the middleweight showdown between undefeated prospect Bo Nickal and 185-pound submission specialist Reinier de Ridder, all 24 combatants must hit the scale to prove themselves worthy beginning at 10 a.m. ET. Remember, the promotion affords each fighter a one-pound allowance in non-title fights.
