While most fight fans are gearing up for Saturday’s UFC 315 event from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, hardcore combat sports enthusiasts tuned in to LFA 208 on Friday night and witnessed some of the best finishes of the year thus far.
As most regional cards go this LFA 208 event offered a few sneaky matchups featuring some very talented young prospects. One of which was a women’s strawweight meeting between Brazilian striker Aline David and Stephanie Nayen. It wasn’t expected to be anything special, but David quickly changed that once the fight started.
It took David only a few moments to find her footing and launch a perfectly-timed front kick that slammed into Nayen’s face. It looked like Michael Chandler against Tony Ferguson all over again, but Nayen somehow wasn’t completely put out. That’s when David moved in for a few final shots before the referee peeled her off with just 12 seconds off the clock.

Luckily, the memorable finishes didn’t stop there. Later on the LFA 208 card a matchup between Brazilian finisher Allan Begosso and Davaajamts Batsuren played out at bantamweight. While Begosso is typically known for his knockout power the talented prospect turned in a tremendous ninja choke submission finish the second round. It was pretty cool to see.
