Alpine Endurance Team Secures Back-To-Back Wins In FIA WEC

These days, the Alpine Endurance Team is sizzling hot, having just now asserted its power for yet another title in FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Just a little while ago, they tweeted: “Two in a row. 🏆,” accompanied by a picture of a celebration, while all racing aficionados and their supporters flocked social media to express their excitement.

Winning twice consecutively in endurance racing is, in a word, immense. There was no telling from the tweets which race had been won or giving any insight into the details of their mighty display-the trophy says it all-the team is ruling presently! Very well!

Natascia was the first one to get all excited, following on with a myriad of eyes-with-hearts and fire stamps that screamed out the sentiments of everyone who saw the post. Then, Águeda Ferreira de Almeida went for class, congratulating the team with: “Congratulations 🎉👏🥂💛.” Sometimes the simplest statement is the best.

The hype for Mick Schumacher came next. User julxan_fcb3331 outrightly gave his respect, saying, “Mick goat,” as the young driver increasingly gains more notoriety in the racing world. Whether you agree or not, you cannot deny that Schumacher’s presence only adds to the hype for Alpine.

But it did not stop there. Joel Lesage said that he had noted Frédéric Mako’s aggressive driving in the first relay and went on to say that he would like to see the second Alpine car closer during the race. That kind of constructive criticism makes teams better, so you can bet the Alpine guys are probably listening.

While Torri said “massive effort from the teams and all the drivers,” it seemed like an understatement. Winning in endurance racing means a lot more than just driving fast; it means being smart, working as a team, and having the endurance to stretch through the full race. So, massive effort sounds appropriate.

Chef-cheeeeeeef-for-the-ignorant admitted to a tad bit of disappointment on one of the cars coming third but followed that up with optimism about what the team is about to achieve as a whole. Ludo_Go pointed out that being “disappointed” with third speaks to how high expectations for Alpine are now. That is progress, gents.

Then came the comedy. Marnie said she had to laugh at Fred’s smile in the celebrations after the race. Because even in this more serious world of international motorsport, there has to be room for a little levity.

So where does Alpine go from here? Keeping this momentum going could mean an extremely dominating season. And while the team has been cheered for their capability, grit, and drive, comments like “Could have been better but we’ll take it” signify that the demand for more does not taper any time soon.

For now, however, the order of the day is celebrate. Two wins back-to-back is already something to celebrate by itself; Alpine is consciously making sure the world will never forget. I mean, if you have not been keeping tabs on their WEC journey up to now, this should be the perfect time because something tells me that this is just the beginning.
