On Wednesday, news broke that Topuria was vacating his Featherweight title and moving up a division permanently. He’s been talking about fighting Makhachev for months now, and many believe he would not have done so without promises of an instant title shot. In addition, industry insiders have reported that’s the UFC’s plan, and other bout announcements like Paddy Pimblett vs. Michael Chandler support this idea as well.
The hold up would appear to be Makhachev. The current pound-for-pound king has defended his title four times now, and in a fairly strange run of circumstances, three of the four defenses were against men best known for their work at 145-pounds. Makhachev has faced critique for beating up Featherweights, though it’s hardly his fault that Arman Tsarukyan and Charles Oliveira both withdrew from planned rematches at the last second.
For that reason, however, Makhachev’s manager Rizvan Magomedov wants to see Topuria victorious at Lightweight before he receives a title shot.
“Topuria vs Dustin/Charles contender fight, to prove he’s legit lightweight,” Magomedov wrote on X. “So we don’t have to defeat another ‘small featherweight’ We need big fight that make sense for everyone. We already gave chances to featherweight champ that was reigning for long time.”
It’s a reasonable request from the Makhachev camp given the optics. However, there’s not a bigger fight available to be booked at 155-pounds than Makhachev vs. Topuria. There’s financial incentive for the UFC to book it RIGHT NOW, rather than run the risk that Topuria comes up short against the likes of Poirier or “Do Bronx.”
We’ll just have to wait and see.

Israel Adesanya shows Dustin Poirier some love! In my book, men like Poirier and Tony Ferguson have more than earned the right to be called champion without any asterisk …
Whenever I said UFC 243 was my first tittle defense, some get salty. I consider my “Interim” tittle win a tittle win, any fight after that is considered a tittle defense and a unification. Two things can be true at the same time . @DustinPoirier and I won our belts on the same… https://t.co/aVrJDSlb7X

If you are looking to lower your blood pressure and incorporate more superfoods into your diet, there is one essential item you should add to your shopping list. Experts at Harvard Health highlight a particular fruit that we should be eating – or drinking.
Discussing the benefits of “superfoods for heart health,” they emphasise that oranges play a crucial role in maintaining healthy blood pressure and providing essential vitamins.
They said: “These popular, widely available fruits have a lot going for them: they’re rich in cholesterol-lowering soluble fiber, potassium – which helps counteract the blood pressure-raising effects of sodium – and vitamin C.”
You can do this by either eating an orange each day or having a glass of orange juice in the morning. The latter is a great option if you enjoy a refreshing drink to start your day or need a quick breakfast before heading to work.
For instance, you can grab a 1L carton of Everyday Essentials Orange Juice from ALDI for just 85p, with similar options available at Morrisons, Lidl, ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, and other supermarkets. If you prefer fresh juice daily, consider buying fresh oranges and squeezing them yourself – either in the morning or the night before for convenience.
Alternatively, you can simply eat an orange on the go. At Morrisons, a loose orange costs just 30p, and many stores offer single oranges or packs of five for around 99p.
The health gurus further add that if you want to try different foods, the options are endless. “If you want to splurge on some slightly more exotic selections, try quinoa, kale, avocados, berries, and dark chocolate,” they suggest.
Their benefits don’t stop there with experts at Benenden Health noting: “Oranges are another fruit that can give you bundles of energy when you are feeling drowsy. They are also a great electrolyte replenisher and, of course, high in vitamin C which boosts fatigue-reducing collagen production.”
Riley Willis sits behind his keyboard for 30 hours a week. When he clocks out on Saturday, he’s made it through all his shifts without speaking to a soul.
Willis is an AI contractor, working in data annotation through a company called DataAnnotation.tech. He says his job is fully remote and operates asynchronously — with no set boss, no contact with coworkers, and no daily meetings.
“It’s perfect for an introvert,” he told Business Insider.
Willis said his days consist of “fact-checking” the output of various AI models — but only because that’s what he chooses to take on. He says DataAnnotation.tech offers a variety of projects for contract workers to choose from, including teaching AI to improve its creative writing and coding skills.
“You are literally going through and you’re labeling the information based on a series of criteria that differ between projects,” Willis said. “I personally work on a lot of factual stuff, just because I just find the pay-to-effort ratio is nice. So, there’s a lot of fact-checking responses, making sure the models aren’t lying or hallucinating information.”
As companies continue the push to improve their AI models, there’s been a corresponding spike in demand for data annotators and labelers. Workers in the field spend their time either “generating data for training and labeling data for training,” Willis said, completing tasks in programming, writing, and research.
Willis said he was first drawn to the job when he was looking to move out of his parents’ house and wanted to avoid a role in retail.
“I wanted a job that wasn’t customer service or anything like that,” he said. “I was already doing remote school, so I was kind of already comfortable with the remote environment.”
When he first onboarded, Willis said he was making $20 an hour, but now nets about $25. Hourly rates vary depending on the projects workers take on, and Willis said he’s seen them reach as high as $30.
Despite not undertaking a full-time workload, Willis, who is pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science through the University of Florida’s online program, said he’s able to fully cover his expenses — including tuition and rent in Raleigh, North Carolina.
“I can pay rent, and I can pay my way through college,” Willis said. “It’s not like I have a lot of spending money in the end, especially if I’m not working 40 hours full time kind of stuff, but I have enough where I can live generally.”
Willis said his frugal lifestyle is what allows him to stretch his pay, adding that he “couldn’t support himself” if he were living alone.
“I live poor, honestly,” he said. “If I had some extravagant lifestyle — If I went out to, you know, bars and everything, and spent a lot online — I probably couldn’t do it. But, just getting through my day, it completely covers it.”
The job does have its drawbacks. Willis said the repetitive nature of the tasks can be “mind-numbing.” And unlike a full-time position, Willis only gets paid for the time he’s sitting down at his computer, actively working on assignments.
“Even in a high-paced job, I feel like, you know, there’s paid lunch breaks, stuff like that,” he said. “Or, you know, you spend a second or two talking to someone, but you’re still on the clock getting paid. With this, you’re really not getting paid unless you are doing the work.”
Willis said he sometimes spends “six or seven hours” on research but only gets paid for about “five hours of actual work” because of the need to pause occasionally. Regardless — Willis said the pros of the job outweigh the cons.
“I will personally say work-life balance is nice, in the sense that, obviously, it’s remote and I can work whenever I want,” he said. “I can work at 1 o’clock in the morning if I really feel like it.”
For someone who’s looking for a side hustle to tack onto their full-time role, Willis says working to train AI might be a better overall fit.
“I think this would be really, really good for someone who has an actual job and is doing this, like two hours a day,” he said. “I think this is really what this kind of setup shines in. If you have an actual full time job, and you just add the extra hour, hour-and-a-half, a day, earning an extra $25 to $50 a day, just when you have nothing else to do, is definitely doable.”
Target was sued on Thursday by the state of Florida for allegedly concealing the risks of diversity and social initiatives that led to a customer backlash and wiped billions of dollars from the retailer’s market value.
The securities fraud lawsuit by the State Board of Administration of Florida, an agency overseeing public pension funds that own Target stock, was filed in the federal court in Fort Myers, Florida.
It is the first shareholder lawsuit led by a US state over Target’s alleged mismanagement of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) matters.

Florida accused Target of betraying investors and its core customer base of working families by making false and misleading statements in financial reports and proxy statements about its DEI mandate and environmental, social and governance mandate.
It also accused Chief Executive Brian Cornell of downplaying the intensity of customer boycotts following a “disastrous” and “exceptionally offensive” May 2023 Pride Month campaign, prolonging the decline in Target’s share price.
“Corporations that push radical leftist ideology at the expense of financial returns jeopardize the retirement security of Florida’s first responders and teachers,” James Uthmeier, the state’s Republican attorney general, said in a statement.
Target did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The Minneapolis-based retailer has said in court papers that it repeatedly warned investors about the risk of consumer boycotts from its social and environmental initiatives.

Backlash from the Pride Month campaign led Target to remove some LGBTQ-themed merchandise from shelves, after in-store confrontations left some employees fearing for their safety.
The retailer’s share price has fallen since the removals began, while rival Walmart’s share price has approximately doubled.
Target’s share price is also down more than 50% from its November 2021 peak.
That included a 22% drop on November 20, 2024 that wiped out about $15.7 billion of market value, after the retailer forecast disappointing profit and holiday sales.
On January 24, Target said it will end DEI initiatives this year.
It joined Walmart, Amazon.com and many other companies in curbing such initiatives, which US President Donald Trump and many other conservatives have attacked.
Florida’s lawsuit joins similar proposed class actions filed on January 31 and in August 2023, both also in Fort Myers.
The case is State Board of Administration of Florida v Target Corp et al, U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, No. 25-00135.
President Trump is absolutely right in wanting to end the bloodshed in Ukraine. The suffering has been appalling and the stalemate brutal. But in the furious mix of wild opinions this week from the White House down, there are at least 10 truths which every American voter must hang onto.
In Trump’s rush to end the bloodshed, these are also the truths against which any deal will be judged and will define him when the history books are written.
To ignore them or not treat them with the gravity they deserve will also have enormous consequences for decades to come:
TRUTH No. 1
Vladimir Putin started this war, despite what President Trump said days ago.
In February 2022, following a massive build-up on Ukraine’s borders, Putin’s army launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. There is no rational narrative outside of Russian propaganda that blames “aggressive” actions by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky or NATO that can justify such a military action. This came after Putin had already seized Crimea in 2014 and launched a war in the Donbas, in eastern Ukraine.
And that doesn’t include the other wars he started, like that against the tiny nation of Georgia in 2008.
Trump is absolutely right that the war “never had to start.” I believe it is true that it wouldn’t have started if he had been in the Oval Office. But it was Putin, not Zelensky, who started the war.

TRUTH No. 2
Russia is fighting for conquest. The Russian Federation invaded Ukraine in 2022. Whatever you think of the country or its leadership, Ukraine is an internationally recognized sovereign nation. Putin invaded in the hope of devouring the country wholesale. By contrast, Ukraine has absolutely no territorial ambitions in Russia.
And remember the brutality of Russia’s actions. Among the multitude depravities and war crimes committed by Putin’s army has been the abduction of some 20,000 Ukrainian children. Who wants to live in a world where the strong can simply devour the weak, and kidnap little children by their thousands? Why hasn’t the US put their release at the top of the list of their negotiating demands?
TRUTH No. 3
Ukraine is fighting for its independence. Most Ukrainians do not want to be part of Russia. They do not want to be governed from Moscow. The vast majority want to live in an independent, sovereign country in control of its own future.
TRUTH No. 4
Ukrainians are not Russians. Ukrainians and Russians are not “one people — a single whole,” as Putin wrote in a 2021 essay. He is also simply lying in his assertion that “modern Ukraine is entirely the product of the Soviet era.”
Ukrainians and Russians are two separate ethnic groups. They speak different languages and have distinct histories.
TRUTH No. 5
Putin is a dictator. Putin has ruled Russia with an iron KGB fist since coming to power in 1999. He has ruthlessly quashed independent media, ended free and fair elections, crushed civil-society and killed his political opponents. And not just inside Russia, but around the world. People who live inside Russia and express any opposition to the war are imprisoned.

TRUTH No. 6
Zelensky is not a dictator. A political outsider, Zelensky won the 2019 presidential election, which was relatively free and fair. He has a 57% approval rating, not the 4% Trump claimed.
Unlike in Russia, Ukraine has a vibrant independent media which holds the government to account — despite claims to the contrary by internet swamp creatures and Russian bots.
Many Ukrainians freely criticize the government’s conduct of the war. When Britain was fighting for its survival against the Nazis in the 1940s, it too did not hold elections.
The Russian ambassador to the UK spent yesterday crowing that he’s “not sure” Zelensky would be re-elected if there were elections today. But we all know one thing for sure. Whether or not Zelensky would be re-elected in Ukraine, Putin will always be re-elected in Russia. Because his elections are con-jobs. Pageant-shows. Putin hasn’t won a free and fair election in his life. Because he doesn’t hold them.
TRUTH No. 7
Russia is not a friend of the US. It is a hostile, nuclear-armed state that resents American power and the world the US has built. It has ever closer relations with China, Iran and North Korea. In fact all of its main friends are countries that are the biggest foes of America.
TRUTH No. 8
Ukraine is a friend of the US. Ukraine wants to be part of the American-led order. Its people and government are deeply pro-American. Since the start of the Russian invasion, the Ukrainian men and women I have seen fighting at the front lines are fighting the Russian military to protect their loved ones and their country. They also do it in the knowledge that if they fail, other countries will be next.

TRUTH No. 9
Putin cannot be trusted. This isn’t just a statement of fact. It is also something that 81% of American voters agree on.
Putin has invaded multiple countries in violation of every international treaty. He has interfered in multiple elections in his nearest neighbors. He has violated international agreements, including the INF Treaty with the US.
He has lied to American presidents and European leaders his whole career. He has lied to Trump even since Trump has been back in office. Most recently Putin promised that he wouldn’t target Ukrainian energy facilities.

Yet just this week he carried out a massive missile and drone attack against multiple energy facilities in Ukraine. It is almost as though Putin’s word doesn’t count for very much and he doesn’t care if you know it.
TRUTH No. 10
American aid to Ukraine is not being wasted.
Nobody would argue that Ukraine is a country without corruption. But that does not mean its people and sovereignty should not be protected.
We should also remember which country in this war is truly corrupt. Russia is one vast, kleptocratic state, led by Putin and a small cartel of oligarchs who have made themselves among the richest people on earth. All while keeping most of the Russian population in a state of poverty which would not be believed by most of us in the West.
Putin and his cronies have been accumulating power and wealth all their careers. And they will torture and kill anyone who exposes this corruption. Remember his political opponent Alexey Navalny and the lawyer Sergei Magnitsky? It is easy to expose corruption in Ukraine. But in Russia it is deadly.
Besides, according to the Department of Defense, some $58 billion out of the $183 billion in Ukraine aid has been spent in America. It is money that has benefited American workers and industries.
The war has also degraded the military of one of the despotic regimes in the world and reduced their threat to not just Europe but America without one US soldier being killed. It has also sent a strong deterrent message to China, Iran and North Korea not to try the same.
Zelensky meeting with Trump’s Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg on Feb. 20, 2025. ZUMAPRESS.com
You can criticize Zelensky. Complain. But we should be under no illusions about who started this fire and who the true dictator or villain of this tragic tale is.
President Trump has a chance to bring an end to this war, to stop the killing. Maybe even win a Nobel Prize for Peace.
But he will not be honored if the peace is an appeasement, one that bows down in the face of evil as it denies obvious truths.
The judgment of history will be even harsher — decades of peace and prosperity in Europe and America thrown away to a resurgent Russia harassing the east. Without a strong peace, it won’t be just Ukraine that suffers. It is all of us.
Zoom Workflow Automation automatically creates a workflow that triggers a set of actions, such as generating summaries of meetings, exporting the summary to a document, and sharing it with team members. The tool can also track activity and communication among a team with multiple participants and generate summaries, so everyone is up to date on the activities.
That solves the problem of fragmented communication, the company said.
Workflow Automation is connected across Zoom Workplace tools including Zoom Chat, Zoom Team Chat, and Zoom Docs. Applications from third-party applications such as Microsoft and Google can also be a part of the automated workflow. And the workflows can be integrated into Atlassian’s Jira software.

Replacing the traditional NHL All-Star break, the 4 Nations Face-Off is a round-robin tournament featuring the United States, Canada, Sweden, and Finland. The United States secured a 3-1 win over Canada in the group stage last Saturday in Montreal. The winner of tonight’s final will take home the first-ever NHL 4 Nations Face-Off Trophy.
Ahead of the game, President Donald Trumpannounced plans to call the U.S. men’s national ice hockey team, while also proposing the idea of merging Canada with the United States.
“I’ll be calling our GREAT American Hockey Team this morning to spur them on towards victory tonight against Canada, which with FAR LOWER TAXES AND MUCH STRONGER SECURITY, will someday, maybe soon, become our cherished, and very important, Fifty First State,” he posted to Truth Social.
While Team USA invited Trump to attend the game, he declined due to a prior engagement speaking to Republican governors in Washington. “But we will all be watching, and if Governor Trudeau would like to join us, he would be most welcome,” he added, making another reference to his proposal.

Famous for being one of Brits favourite holiday destinations, Benidorm is home to cheap pub, a beautiful beach and a traditional town. But what many may not know is there’s a gigantic abandoned shopping centre as well.
One Benidorm enthusiast unveiled an eerie sight that many tourists have likely walked right past. Lucy shared her unusual finding on YouTube and went on to explore what exactly happened to the once thriving building.
She points out that there are some businesses functioning on the outside of the mall, making it less obvious that behind those walls, lies the mysterious unknown.
Sitting on the ground floor on the edge of the forgotten about shopping centre, you can find a cafe, bakery, travel excursion shop and a variety of clothing stores, but the top floor looks completely empty.
On the fourth side of this large centre Lucy shows that aside from two small businesses, everything else in this section looks as though someone has locked it up, and thrown away the key. The Benidorm enthusiast said: “Now we’re going to take you for a look inside where you’ll really start to see what I mean about this place being abandoned.”
Taking us on a tour inside, Lucy explains: “On this entrance you’ve got signage, and you can see there are 77 units in this shopping center. Only about a third of them are occupied, according to that sign, but I’ve counted at least five of them on that side that have actually closed down.”
With panning shots of the corridors throughout the video it’s clear that this shopping centre is a gigantic space that for unknown reasons, has been left untouched for years. With its prime location and sizable space, the Benidorm-lover says it’s a “shame” that the hotspot is going to waste.
She continued: “I just can’t understand it. You would think businesses would be fighting over such a good location but it’s almost like people have just forgotten that it exists. I actually really struggled to find out any information on this place in my 20 odd years here, I only remember it looking pretty similar to how it is now, a sad sight, an empty shell of a shopping center.”
After asking around, in an attempt to gather some information, Lucy discovered that it used to be one of five campsites in Benidorm back in the 70s. It was around the turn of the decade, in the 80s that it was then transformed into a once thriving shopping centre.
The palace was known as Loria, which refers to an old water feature that stood there years ago, but was formally known as El Centro. According to the Benidorm enthusiast, there also used to be a cinema that was a part of the building.
“I only managed to find one picture of the cinema online, it was called Cine Centro and some people I have spoken to do have fun memories of that Cinema, but I don’t think it lasted very long either, Lucy tells viewers. “Then, without the facilities and without the cinema to bring people here, the shops that were here, just drifted into Oblivion.”
Projects for Benidorm in 2025 could result in an access road being built in the back of the ringcon Deo area, which eventually should lead to the construction of a huge shopping center, according to the Youtube channel. But it boards the question: does Benidorm need a new shopping centre when there’s this place sitting and waiting for some investment and rejuvenation
Speculation is rife that the Cash ISA is about to go undergo some significant surgery. There have been murmurs that these tax-efficient products could be scrapped altogether.
There’s also talk that the £20,000 annual allowance could be trimmed back to just £4,000.
Supporters of a radical overhaul believe it could ignite investment in higher-yielding assets like shares, boosting individuals’ retirement pots while giving a leg-up to the British economy.
Rumours are certain to continue swirling ahead of next month’s Spring Statement. But following government comments this week, it appears change is coming down the tracks in some way, shape or form.
Please note that tax treatment depends on the individual circumstances of each client and may be subject to change in future. The content in this article is provided for information purposes only. It is not intended to be, neither does it constitute, any form of tax advice. Readers are responsible for carrying out their own due diligence and for obtaining professional advice before making any investment decisions.
Change is coming
On Thursday (20 February), chancellor of the exchequer Rachel Reeves said: “At the moment, there is a £20,000 limit on what you can put into either cash or equities [via the Stocks and Shares ISA], but we want to get that balance right.”
Tellingly, she added: “I do want to create more of a culture in the UK of retail investing like what you have in the US to earn better returns for savers and to support the ambition to grow the economy creating good jobs right across the UK.”
Reeves’ comments would have sent a shiver down the spine of many savers. Investing isn’t for everyone, and some prefer the security and the simplicity of just holding cash on account instead of buying shares, trusts and funds.
Embracing opportunity
As a Cash ISA holder myself, I’m hoping the chancellor resists wholesale changes to this popular product. I don’t fancy having to pay tax on the interest my savings generate.
But any modifications might not be the disaster some Cash ISA users fear. It may even provide the opportunity that the chancellor believes could supercharge all of our retirement funds.
And if done the right way, Britons can embrace this new reality without burdening themselves with too much risk.
Diversifying for safety
By holding a diverse selection of shares, investors can greatly reduce the danger to their hard-earned cash. A portfolio of, say, 10-15 shares across different sectors can balance risk, provide exposure to a multitude of investing opportunities, and deliver a stable return across the economic cycle.
A simpler way to diversify is by buying an investment trust or an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that invests in a basket of assets. The iShares FTSE 250 ETF (LSE:MIDD) is one such fund that risk-averse individuals may wish to consider.
The fund invests across the whole of the FTSE 250 index. So it has holdings in a wide spectrum of companies including retailer B&M, broadcaster ITV and insurance provider Direct Line.
Funds like this aren’t totally without risk and may fall during broader market downturns. But over time they’ve also proved to be effective ways to build wealth in a low-risk way.
FTSE 250 funds like this one have provided an average annual return of around 9% in the last 20 years. That’s also higher than the return Cash ISAs have delivered over the same timeframe.
I believe it’s wise to retain some cash held in a savings account, regardless of any tax liabilities on the interest. But with changes to the Cash ISA likely approaching, now could be a good time for us to explore additional (and potentially superior) ways to grow our money.
