Here’s how investors could consider trying to turn £11,000 of Legal & General shares into £13,998 a year of dividend income

0

Legal & General (LSE: LGEN) shares’ 8.9% return is nearly two-and-a-half times the average FTSE 100 yield of 3.6%. And it is getting close to three times the FTSE 250’s 3.3% payout.

So, investors considering an £11,000 (the average UK savings) stake in the firm would make £979 in dividends in the first year. If the yield evened out at 8.9% over 10 years, these payouts would rise to £9,790, and over 30 years to £29,370.

The ‘miracle’ of dividend compounding

This income is a lot more than could be made in a regular UK savings account. But it could be even greater using the standard investment process of ‘dividend compounding’. This involves using the dividends paid by a firm to buy more of its shares.

Using this method would generate £15,699 in dividends after 10 years, not £9,790, provided the yield was 8.9%. And on the same basis, the dividend income after 30 years would be £146,282 rather than £29,370!

With the initial £11,000 added in, the total value of the Legal & General holding would be £157,282. This would pay an annual dividend income of £13,998 by then, or £1,167 every month.

Is the stock undervalued as well?

Nobody wants their dividend income gains reduced by share price losses in the event of selling the stock.

To reduce the chances of this happening, I only ever buy shares that appear undervalued to me. Conversely, of course, it also increases the potential for an additional profit to be made on a share price gain.

In Legal & General’s case, a discounted cash flow analysis using other analysts’ figures and my own shows the stock is technically 62% undervalued.

Therefore, a fair price for the shares – currently priced at £2.29 – is £6.03. This does not guarantee that they will reach that level, given the vagaries of the market. But it does strongly indicate to me that they look extremely cheap at their present price.

A risk here is any new financial crisis that could cause customers to cancel their policies. However for now, consensus analysts’ forecasts are that Legal & General’s earnings will grow by 24.14% every year to end-2026.

And it is earnings growth that powers increases in a firm’s yield and its share price over time.

Will I buy more of the shares?

I have added to my holding of Legal & General shares several times over the years based on three factors.

The first – and core reason – is its exceptional earnings growth potential. This remains intact as far as I am concerned.

The second is its extremely high yield and the prospects that this will be sustained. Again, this still holds good, in my view. Analyst estimates are that the stock’s yield will rise to 9.5% in 2025 and to 9.8% in 2026.

And the third is its undervaluation. This also looks to be in place, so all three key reasons for my buying it are still in play.

Consequently, I will be buying more Legal & General shares very soon.

£2k in savings? Consider this investment strategy for lifelong passive income

0

Dividends paid by publicly listed companies (stocks) is the best, and arguably most predictable, way of earnings a passive income. And unlike with real estate investments, we can start building a diverse portfolio of stock investments with a relatively small amount of cash.

Unfortunately, £2,000 in savings isn’t going to generate much passive income today — at most, we could achieve £180 in the first year. However, there’s a simple and well-trodden path for turning our savings into a mega portfolio capable of generating life-changing passive income.

The recipe for success

Starting with £2,000 in savings, here’s how an investor can grow their money into a bigger portfolio that generates passive income:

  1. Invest regularly: adding money to our investments every month, even if it’s just a small amount, helps our money grow faster.
  2. Use compound interest: reinvesting any earnings (like dividends) back into the portfolio. This means we earn returns on our returns, which can really boost growth over time — honestly it’s the secret sauce to portfolio growth.
  3. Diversify: spreading money across different types of investments, like stocks, ETFs, and bonds helps reduce risk.
  4. Be patient: building wealth takes time. Stick to the plan and don’t panic during volatility.
  5. Consider dividend-paying stocks: as our portfolios grow, we can invest in stocks that pay regular dividends. This can provide a steady stream of passive income.

This really works

It might sound simple, but it really works. However, success is, of course, dependent on us picking the right investments. If we make poor investment decisions we could lose money.

But to make this less hypothetical, let me tell you what happens when we make the right investment decisions. A little over a year ago, I opened a Junior ISA. I made monthly contributions and invested in a range of stocks. Fourteen months later, the valued of the investments is up 61% and the portfolio is now worth five figures.

Now, annualised returns of around 50% are hard to achieve. I would say it’s impossible but I do know of portfolios that have achieved growth like this over the long run — J Mintzmyer’s for example.

In the below table I’ve shown how our £2,000 starting pot could grow, assuming £250 of monthly contributions.

8% 16% 43% (J Mintzmyer)
10 years £50,175.79 £82,944.52 £606,650.68
20 years £157,108.71 £479,648.85 £41,939,034.76
30 years £394,461.32 £2,423,873.33 £2,867,315,789.27

Now, most novice investors will be aiming for high-single digit returns. But it all depends on the quality of those investments. And just a note on J Mintzmyer — even he would struggle to keep up that rate of return over 30 years.

Keeping it simple

I like to focus on quantitive data, only investing in companies that meet the threshold, like Twilio (NYSE:TWLO). The company trades with a price-to-earnings-to-growth (PEG) ratio of one, and has very strong profitability grades.

The communications firm is on the up following rounds of efficiency drives that have turned this perennial underperformer into a darling of the stock market. It’s also got momentum, with the firm up 66% over the past 12 months.

However, with a price-to-earnings ratio of 30 times, there’s not much room for error. Nonetheless, I think it’s worth considering. It has an excellent track record of beating earnings estimates and I think the stock could go much higher.

Cynthia Bailey Explains Why She And Mike Hill Split Up

The breakup of Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill, as the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star sees it, was due to their lack of camaraderie.

The reality star discussed why she and Hill divorced after only two years of marriage on the Two T’s in a Pod podcast hosted by Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp. The couple had been married for only two years.

On Monday’s show, Bailey admitted that she had the feeling that they were no longer friends. If we didn’t put on the brakes, I could see us quickly heading toward a situation where we couldn’t remain friends.

No, I’m not making my debut here. According to Bailey, 55, “friendship just has to be present” in a marriage. It’s beautiful to adore someone, but friendship is also essential. So all I want to do is hang out with my BFF.

Bailey claims that she and Hill do not regret ending their marriage and that she still has a great deal of respect for Hill, whom she considers to be her husband, despite the fact that their divorce is not complete.

Before the day of the announcement, I had always worn my ring, but afterward, I took it off. She revealed to the two Bravolebrities that we were going through some difficulties. That’s simply odd, you guys. Simply put, that’s strange.

In addition to their deteriorating friendship, Bailey told Page Six that she and the sportscaster, 52, broke up because she moved to California to start a new life with him and then kept making frequent trips back east.

Significant changes happened with us as a couple and as a married couple. At age 55, I uprooted my life and started over in a new city, a new home, and a new profession. According to what the reality star revealed to us last month, that was a great deal of pressure on me.

Europe’s best train journey that covers two countries and only costs £30 | Travel News | Travel

0

The 32-mile Centovalli Line opened in 1923 to connect Domodossola, in Italy’s  Piedmont region, and Locarno, in the Swiss Ticino.

The two-hour journey forms part of the route between Lake Maggiore, the French part of Switzerland, and the Swiss capital Bern as well as being the most direct connection between the Gotthard and Simplon passe.

Departing from an underground station in Locarno, the train travels through a valley which was carved by the Melezza river which has allegedly 100 adjoining valleys.

It passes 83 bridges and 31 tunnels, through the high point of Santa Maria Maggiore over the Italian border and along the Valle Vigezzo to Domodossola before descending into Domodossola.

The journey takes passengers past breathtaking gorges with crashing waterfalls, over spectacular bridges and passing through delightful villages.

Vineyards also line the route, which vary in style from the manicured hedges of Switzerland to the “ramshackle” family vineyards over the border in Italy.

The train can be taken from Locarno as a return day trip or as part of the Lake Maggiore Express day trip. It can also be used as a connection to Ascona with Montreux on Lake Geneva, Spiez and Thun in the Bernese Oberland, or the Graubünden mountain resorts.

Passengers are recommended to see the route in autumn, when the journey is lined with hundreds of deciduous trees, mainly sweet chestnuts turning orange and yellow.

It has been called “the best-value train ride in Europe” by the Telegraph with a return ticket costing about £30.

The Centovalli Line operates hourly services every day, throughout the year, with tickets available online from operator Vigezzina Centovalli.

How to Design a Custom Suit That Reflects Your Personal Style

0

Reading Time: 5 minutes

A well-made custom suit is more than just a piece of clothing; it’s an extension of your personality. Unlike off-the-rack suits, a custom suit gives you the freedom to choose every detail, from fabric to fit, ensuring it aligns with your unique style and preferences. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to design a custom suit that truly reflects your personal style.

1. Define Your Style Vision

Before you start designing your custom suits, it’s important to have a clear vision of your personal style. Are you aiming for a sharp, professional look or something more casual and relaxed? Do you lean toward classic, timeless pieces or are you more adventurous and trendy? Answering these questions will help guide your decisions throughout the process. Look for inspiration from various sources like fashion magazines, celebrities, or even other custom suits you admire. This vision will be the foundation of your design.

2. Choose the Right Fabric

Fabric choice plays a major role in defining the look and feel of your custom suit. Some of the most popular fabric options include:

  • Wool: Ideal for year-round wear, wool is a versatile and durable fabric. It’s perfect for classic business suits and comes in various weights to accommodate different climates.
  • Linen: If you’re looking for something light and breathable for warmer weather, linen is a great option. However, it’s more casual and tends to wrinkle easily, making it less suitable for formal settings.
  • Cotton: A balance between formal and casual, cotton offers structure while being breathable. It’s an excellent choice for spring or summer events.
  • Velvet or Cashmere: For more luxurious or formal occasions, velvet and cashmere add an air of sophistication and boldness to your look.

Your fabric choice should reflect the occasion you’re designing for, as well as your lifestyle. If your style is classic and understated, opt for neutral, high-quality fabrics like wool or cotton. For a more avant-garde look, bold textures and colors can help you make a statement.

3. Get the Fit Right

The fit of your suit is the most critical aspect of achieving a personalized look. A well-fitted suit exudes confidence, while an ill-fitting one can detract from even the best design. Whether you prefer a slim, tailored fit or a more relaxed, classic cut, getting precise measurements and ensuring comfort are crucial for your suit to look and feel right.

4. Select Lapel and Collar Styles

Lapel design is one of the easiest ways to showcase your personal style. There are three main lapel options:

  • Notch Lapel: The most common lapel style, perfect for business and professional settings.
  • Peak Lapel: A more formal and dramatic style often used in tuxedos and power suits. It’s great for adding a sense of flair.
  • Shawl Lapel: A smooth, rounded lapel typically found on tuxedos. It’s ideal for a sleek, evening look.

If your style is classic and refined, a notch lapel in a subtle size works well. For those who want something bolder, a wide peak lapel can make a strong fashion statement.

5. Pick Your Custom Details

This is where the fun really begins—adding details that make your custom suits uniquely yours. Consider these customizations to reflect your personal style:

  • Buttons: Choose from a variety of button options, including single-breasted or double-breasted styles. Buttons can range from classic tortoiseshell to contrasting colors for a modern twist.
  • Pocket Style: Flap pockets offer a traditional look, while jetted pockets are sleek and minimalist. Patch pockets create a more casual appearance.
  • Lining: The inner lining of your suit is a hidden area where you can express yourself. Whether you choose a bold color, a patterned lining, or something meaningful like a monogram, the inside of your suit can reveal a playful side of your style.
  • Stitching: Accent stitching on lapels, pockets, or buttonholes can add a subtle touch of flair. Opt for a complementary color or something contrasting to make it pop.
  • Vents: Choose between no vent, single vent, or double vents based on your comfort and how you prefer the jacket to move.

6. Add Personal Flourishes

A custom suit is the perfect canvas for adding small, personalized touches that reflect your individuality. Some ideas include:

  • Monogramming: Adding your initials on the inside pocket or shirt cuffs gives a bespoke feel.
  • Contrasting Thread: Opt for a different color thread on buttonholes or stitching for a stylish twist.
  • Custom Lapel Pin: For special occasions, consider designing a lapel pin that adds a unique flair to your suit.

These minor details may not be visible to everyone, but they contribute to a sense of ownership and personalization that off-the-rack suits can’t match.

7. Consider the Occasion

When designing a custom suit, consider the occasion for which you’ll be wearing it. A business suit will likely differ in style and formality compared to a wedding or evening suit. The setting and purpose will help guide your choices, from the fabric to the overall design.

If you need a business suit stick with classic, versatile fabrics like navy or charcoal wool. Keep the design clean and professional with minimal embellishments. If you’re designing a suit for a formal occasion, such as a wedding or gala, consider luxury fabrics like velvet or silk, and add details like a peak lapel or custom lining. For casual or social settings you can go for lighter fabrics, bolder colors, and relaxed cuts.

Do you feel inspired to design your own custom suit? Start designing here and choose from countless custom suit design options in over 700 fine Italian fabrics—all with your personalized touch.

This Is What We Expect

0

It’s a new year, and that means a new round of blockbusters are looking to make their mark on the box office. It goes without saying that 2024 proved something of a holding year, no thanks to the dual writers’ and actors’ strikes, which led to a number of tentpoles getting delayed until this calendar year, namely Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

In a time in which mainstream Hollywood seems to be in flux, 2025 is likely to be an important and exciting year for the film industry. As such, we’re looking at the upcoming calendar year, analyzing the biggest releases, and making some forecasts about likely/destined hits.

James Gunn’s ‘Superman’ Needs to Hit Big

This Will Kickstart the DCU

There’s no blockbuster in 2025 that needs to hit more than James Gunn’s Superman. Comic book movies are no longer the box office guarantee they once were, but no brand has taken more hits on their reputation than DC, as almost every single one of their recent films has bombed, with arguably only 2022’s The Batman proving an exception.

Since Superman is a full reboot, it’s not an understatement to say it needs to get people excited about the titular character again. James Gunn’s track record in this genre speaks for itself, but will it be enough to stave off superhero fatigue from the public? We’ll just have to see.

Will the Next ‘Mission: Impossible’ Prove a Comeback?

The Franchise Needs a Win

In hindsight, the “Barbenheimer” phenomenon was too much for even Tom Cruise to conquer; while Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning did decently overall, it had the misfortune of releasing a week before our generation’s defining double feature. But Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning doesn’t have nearly as much competition this time around, having at least two weekends to itself to dominate.

Obviously, we’ll be there opening day, as there are few things in life more satisfying than watching Tom Cruise run or defy death for our entertainment. Cruise inarguably helped save the theatrical experience post-COVID with Top Gun: Maverick, but only the coming months will tell if that will translate here as well.

It’s a Big Year for the MCU and Sequels

After sitting most of 2024 out, this year will see Marvel returning in full force to the big screen, but none of their three films has to hit bigger than The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which not only has to finally do big-screen justice for its title characters after three previous failed attempts, but the next two Avengers installments will follow directly from it. If this gets people excited for Doomsday and Secret Wars, Marvel may be back on track, but if it doesn’t, it’s going to be a long few years.

Sequels, once again, are set to dominate the calendar year. After the massive success of Wicked this year, 2025’s concluding chapter, Wicked: For Good, seems as good a guarantee as any to hit big. In 2022, Avatar: The Way of Water had to prove that its franchise was still viable, but it passed that test with flying colors, and there’s no reason to assume that Avatar: Fire and Ash won’t also be a hit. And audiences love dinosaurs, so it’s a safe bet that Jurassic World Rebirth will get them to the theaters.

10 Superhero Movie Flops Everyone Saw Coming

Some superhero movie flops have been so easy to spot they might as well have been flying through the sky in a cape and tights.

The non-franchise films are mostly gambles. Music biopics still make money, and even though October’s Michael will undoubtedly reignite debates over Michael Jackson’s legacy, it’s certain to get his fans in seats. Meanwhile, Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski is bringing his vehicular filmmaking to the racetrack with F1, but its supposedly $300 million budget raises uncertainty.

However, the biggest question mark is Paul Thomas Anderson’s currently untitled film. While his quality track record speaks for itself, his movies have almost never had box office success. Warner Bros. still felt comfortable giving him a $100+ budget, believing that star Leonardo DiCaprio would be enough to justify the cost, but will it pay off?

Claire & Jamie’s Scene Under The Stars In Outlander Season 7, Episode 15 Explained

0

Warning! Spoilers for Outlander Season 7, episode 15 ahead!

Outlander season 7, episode 15 saw Jamie and Claire sit together under a starry sky, but these sepia-toned scenes didn’t seem to fit together with everything else going on. This episode of the Starz fantasy series featured the Battle of Monmouth, which turned out to be devistating for Jamie and Claire. During the build-up, it became clear to this couple that something was different about the coming battle. They had faced the British before to devistating results, but some other kind of doom was coming for them. However, Jamie and Claire didn’t discuss this in real-time.

As Outlander season 7, episode 15, “Written in My Own Heart’s Blood,” saw Jamie and Claire prepare for the Battle—Jamie as a brigadier general and Claire as a medic—the various scenes would suddenly shift to show the pair sitting together by a campfire beneath a bewildering night sky. These periodic sepia-toned scenes were a peaceful break from the chaos and preparation for battle. Still, it’s unclear when or where Jamie and Claire are as they talk about the terror that is to come. The Outlander episode didn’t come with a clear answer, but there are clues.

Claire Imagines She & Jamie Together Under A Starry Sky

Claire & Jamie’s Sepia-Toned Moments Aren’t Quite Real

There was no time to escape together for a quick night of camping while Jamie and Claire prepared for the Battle of Monmouth. Jamie made it clear that he couldn’t leave when he sent Lord John to save William. He wouldn’t abandon his battalion before the battle. Their tent under the stars isn’t where they were sleeping the night before the Battle of Monmouth since we see them together at the Continental camp, surrounded by other preparing soldiers. Still, Jamie and Claire are clearly talking about the coming battle during these sepia scenes in Outlander, so the moment isn’t set in the past.

The Painting In Outlander Season 7, Episode 15 Explained

The opening of Outlander season 7, episode 15, featured two people looking at a painting. It was a short moment but a highly meaningful one.

The fact that these intimate moments between Jamie and Claire in Outlander season 7, episode 15, are filmed so differently than the rest of the episode—with the sepia coloring—implies that they aren’t really happening. Add in the impossibly clear night sky, and it quickly becomes apparent after a few such moments that Claire is having these conversations in her head. She is, in a sense, imagining peaceful nights with Jamie before their world is torn apart. Still, this doesn’t necessarily mean Jamie and Claire’s chat didn’t happen. Rather, these scenes weren’t taking place in the physical world.

This Outlander Season 7, Episode 15 Scene Proves Claire & Jamie Are Never Really Apart

These Star-Crossed Lovers Are Bonded (Regardless Of Their Fate)

The sepia-toned scenes in Outlander‘s season 7 semi-finale are meant to demonstrate how profoundly connected Claire and Jamie are. The anxieties that Claire shared with her husband as they sat by the fire were real, and the words of comfort he returned to her were as well. While the two were bustling around the Continental camp preparing for battle, they found refuge with one another in a different sort of place. It’s a realm that connects them when they are separated, which, in Outlander, happens far too often. Even when Claire is dying, their conversation here continues.

It’s a realm that connects them when they are separated, which, in Outlander, happens far too often.

In the physical world, Jamie sat by Claire’s side and demanded that god let her live. However, this Outlander episode promptly returned to Jamie and Claire’s peaceful scene together. Claire commented that the stars were slowly burning out according to the second law of thermodynamics. However, Jamie commented that “men can make all the laws they like” but he does not believe the stars will burn out. His final line to Claire by their campfire before the episode ends is,The stars willna burn out… and nor will we.” Even if Claire dies of her wound in Outlander, they will remain in this place together.

Outlander Season 7 Explores The “Space Between” From Diana Gabaldon’s Books

The Outlander Books Outline This Intimate Bond

Outlander author Diana Gabaldon has expanded her book series into several spinoff novellas, one of which is called The Space Between. While this novel doesn’t explore a starry realm in which Claire and Jamie can be together forever, it does make reference to the space between those with a profound connection. When they are separated, the distance between them can do nothing to sever their bond. The connection here keeps them linked and provides them safety and home even as the world falls to pieces around them. The Outlander series has provided a more literal exploration of this space.

How To Read The Outlander Book Series In Order (& Its Spin-Offs)

Serving as inspiration for the popular TV series, Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series of books has spanned decades and sold millions of copies.

Jamie and Claire have been separated dozens of times. They weren’t even born in the same century and have, therefore, spent significant chunks of their lives in a world where their soulmate doesn’t exist. However, the space between them has continued to keep them bonded. When Claire returned to the 20th century to raise Brianna, Jamie was still on her heart and mind—because they were linked. It’s both interesting and comforting to see a representation of this connection on screen in Outlander season 7, especially since Jamie and Claire’s story will soon come to an end with season 8.

Outlander season 8 is expected to be released near the end of 2025.

Jamie’s Words In Outlander’s Space Between Explained

Jamie Tells Claire They Will Never Burn Out

A starry sky in outlander

When Jamie said that the stars wouldn’t burn out, he wasn’t saying that Claire was wrong about the second law of thermodynamics. Stars are indeed burning out every moment. However, in that magical place between where they were safe and happy together, the stars would never burn out. Similarly, this is a place where they would always be together. Claire or Jamie will die someday—whether during the Revolutionary War or not. However, these star-crossed lovers will never actually be apart. This space between them keeps them together forever, whether life or time separates them.

This space between them keeps them together forever, whether life or time separates them.

The final shot of Outlander season 7, episode 15, was the image of Claire and Jamie’s glittering night sky. The brightest star began to flicker, but it continued to burn as the sky itself faded away into the credits. Of course, Claire will keep burning, too. The fact that there is still another reason for Outlander proves as much. Still, the ever-burning star means more than the simple truth that Claire will survive. It’s further confirmation that Jamie’s words in the space between is entirely correct. Anything could happen going forward in Outlander, but it’s a fact that Jamie and Claire’s bond will continue in this place between regardless.

Shorthanded Mavericks hand Lakers second straight road loss

0

They should have known what was coming for them, the kind of night that is easier than any other to predict in the NBA.

By the time the Mavericks left the court a loser Monday night in Memphis, it was clear they’d only be a shell of themselves by the time they got back to Dallas, where the Lakers were waiting. Luka Doncic was hurt. Kyrie Irving’s back had him sidelined. And center Daniel Gafford’s sprained ankle meant another key piece for Dallas would be unavailable for a game Anthony Davis labeled a “must win” after the Lakers lost in Houston on Sunday.

Yet every season teams get caught on nights like this, their feet a little heavy, their reactions too slow against a roster energized by the power of opportunity.

“They was waiting on us; it seemed like they was licking their chops,” Lakers forward Dorian Finney-Smith said.

More shots, more minutes, more chances — the momentum only builds as players gain confidence. And Tuesday, even though the Lakers had more talent, they couldn’t stop the waves crashing into them.

Dallas beat the Lakers 118-97, the Mavericks blowing the doors off the Lakers in the second half despite being without their key offensive options minus Klay Thompson.

“I’m not sure what our rotations were.,” Lakers coach JJ Redick said. “I’d never seen us try to execute what we were doing. I haven’t watched the film yet. Just watching it live and talking to the assistants who did watch it on film, we’re not sure what was going on with the shift positioning and the rotations …Never seen it before.”

The Lakers were flat on offense, the ball rattling out and off the rim. They were clueless on defense. And they paid for it. Following a stretch where the Lakers won eight of 11 games, the team has now dropped two in a row, getting swept on a Texas roadtrip.

“I mean, it sucks, obviously, especially knowing where we were and how well we’ve been playing,” forward LeBron James said.

Former Laker Spencer Dinwiddie scored more than double his season average. Quentin Grimes and Jaden Hardy doubled their averages off the bench. P.J. Washington scored 10 more than his average. No matter who had the ball, Dallas attacked the Lakers guards and put the defense into help situations they couldn’t handle. Over and over.

Washington finished with 22 points, Dinwiddie had 19. Grimes scored 23 and Hardy added 15. The Lakers’ point-of-attack defensive failures helped create wide open threes for the Mavericks, who made 18 of them.

“We just didn’t do a good job of playing good basketball,” Lakers guard Austin Reaves said. “That’s really it.”

Davis scored 21 points to lead the Lakers on a night when their offense was toothless, even though LeBron James nearly had a triple-double: 20 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.

And as their defense faltered, their offense was stuck in the mud, the misses piling up until Redick mercifully pulled his regulars in the final minute.

Davis declined to speak postgame.

He missed 11 of his shots. Reaves missed nine of his. The Lakers ended up shooting 45.3% but it felt way worse — probably because of the defense.

“It felt like we played a little tired tonight,” Redick said.

The Lakers return to Los Angeles for their next eight games, a stretch when they need to rebuild the momentum they lost in Texas.

“We can’t really dwell on it too much,” James said. “That’s the name of the game of the NBA. You see what you could’ve done better but you gotta get ready for the next opponent and we got another game coming on Thursday in our home building.”
