See ya later (or never), “Black Junior.”
Today, X account UFC Roster Watch revealed that Mashrabjon Ruziboev ( the younger brother of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight, Nursulton Ruziboev) was released from his respective contract, which he received when he stepped on four days’ notice to fight Jared Gordon at UFC Vegas 102.
However, the fight never took place.
During the official weigh-ins for UFC Vegas 102, Ruziboev never made it to the scale to weigh in because he got sick and eventually pulled out of the fight.
Knowing the fight was canceled, Gordon made weight just to prove a point that he was ready to fight.

Ruziboev (20-4-1) was a bizarre signing by the matchmakers because he had not competed in two years and beat nothing but subpar competition on the regional scene.
It sure seemed like he was being brought in for Gordon to style on.
Also, Lightweight is very deep regarding up-and-coming prospects (like this guy) trying to get to the big show, and Ruziboev isn’t even in the top 30.
Nevertheless, with the UFC looking down upon fighters who miss weight, there is a good chance that Ruziboev majorly screwed up his only chance to fight inside the Octagon.
