For some bizarre reason, mixed martial arts (MMA) fans can’t get enough of being punched, kicked, or choked out by Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighters. It’s like a badge of honor to survive a pro’s power.
Seriously, almost every month, someone posts a video of themselves eating a brutal body shot or getting sent to dreamland by a choke. And, you guessed it, it’s happened again.
This time, red-hot Brazilian fighter Jean Silva was at a Muay Thai event in Brazil when a fan boldly asked Silva to choke him out. The No. 11-ranked featherweight happily obliged. The catch? When the fan tapped out quickly, Silva kept the choke locked in, choking him unconscious.
Watch the clip below:
Thankfully, the fan woke up instantly and laughed it off with Silva.
Fans who watched the clip had mixed reactions.
Should he have stopped after he tapped? Sure, but dude was still vibing with him after he woke up and took it just fine so I’m not gonna sit here and get mad about it myself

I don’t understand why fans agree to do this sh*t

all these virgins in the comments crying about the tap… relax, he just took a nap and woke up with a story to tell for the next 10 years.

Nevertheless, Silva is waiting for his next assignment after he stole the show at UFC 314 when he strangled Bryce Mitchell to sleep (watch highlights).
He called for the next Featherweight title shot against new champion Alexander Volkanovski, but it’s safe to say that isn’t happening.
